Premier Inn Christchurch (East)

The room, had covered in dust and mould and it stank as it hadn’t been opened or aired in weeks!! The room was very inviting and horrible!

The reception area and connecting corridor to the restaurant smelled badly of damp. The hotel room itself was dark, no central light. Only a single light was working over the bathroom mirror and the shower was very poor, very low water pressure.

The bed really comfortable, the room reasonably clean. The room had a musty smell on arrival. I am certain it wasn’t anything to do with the cleaning staff. The whole place is in need of a revamp it’s very tired.

I love a Travelodge (mainly for its reliability and price) but recently have had some lovely stays in Premier Inns that have definitely been far superior to Travelodge's. This was not one of them. There is a reason why it was only £35 per night. It was pretty basic, a bit tired looking and the internet was bad. However, the hotel wasn't awful and the staff were friendly. At that price I would stay again.

Room is much the same as any premier in what makes a difference is the staff found this to be very poor here having to ask for the room to be cleaned at reception as per your policy to come back very late and found the room not cleaned with no clean towels etc very inconvenient

It was fine for one night or maybe even two but anything longer I would definitely want all plug sockets working, a fully functioning smart tv and no annoying continuous electrical noises in the night.

Not the best Premier Inn, needs a good update, did not have the type of room I booked available, hearing was entirely unsuitable and insufficient for the room size, beds were past it and extremely soft, bathrooms were very dated and tired

Excellent location with Aldi and fast food restaurants on your doorstep. Self check in which I haven’t seen before, as I took a bit longer to check in someone did come out to check on me which was good. Checkout was 12 which is generous. Sleep was amazing as always. Hotel could do with a bit of a refresh but otherwise everything was good.

I took 30 blue light photos of the rooms we were offered, 3 in total, all 3 were the same, never been cleaned for long time and were really filmy. I was horrified by the state of the rooms, with dust dirt crime, and stains everywhere. Not a place I want to return to.
