We were in a king room which was one of the most spacious I have ever been in. Very comfortable and well appointed. Clean without heavy perfumes. One street back from the beach. Would highly recommend. However, the king rooms were at the top of a steep staircase and I couldn't remember being told that in advance. Could have been a problem if we couldn't do the stairs.

We drove out to Phillip Island for see the penguins and chose the Ramada to overnight instead of driving back to Melbourne. When we drove through the entrance and down the road to the office we were surprised how large the resort was. The staff at checkin were very friendly and helpful. The same applied at checkout. We had a three bedroom unit and it reminded us of a mobile home in the US. Inside was a full size kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. Overall the condition was average but served its purpose for our one night. If we had more time then the resort offered a lot of activities such as walking trails, hot spring pool, tennis courts, gyms, BBQ area and more. A restaurant was also onsite and located next to the office.

Nous sommes arrivés tard et nous n'avons pas vu un seul personnel pendant notre séjour.
La chambre est spacieuse et propre, pas magnifique mais confortable. L'eau chaude courait un peu lentement pour la dernière personne à prendre une douche.
La location est magnifique, à quelques pas des restaurants et des magasins, ou à 2 minutes de route. Il y a un parc pour enfants à l'extérieur de l'hôtel et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié. La vue sur la plage est également spectaculaire.

AAmander BThis was perfect, cheap accommodation for our family of 6 for a long weekend on Philip Island. The cabin was clean and had most basic equipment needed for our stay. We were right next to the jumping pillow which wlthe kids were initially very excited about but unfortunately was not in operation for the entirety of our stay. We also found it quite a distance from most of the things we wanted to do on the island. (About 15/20 mins drive from most attractions) For the price we paid it was quite satisfactory though.

IInvitéStayed here for one night during my trip to Phillip Island and was very happy with my room. The staff were wonderful with helping me to check in, despite dealing with crashed Wi-Fi. Despite booking for a single room I was put into a family room, which was absolutely fine - I didn't mind at all and assumed this was because of the computer bug. Upon first walking into the room I did notice a faint whiff of cigarette smoke but this quickly disappeared. Everything was clean and tidy, with plenty of kitchen amenities available (including a kettle, fridge and microwave). I also found a hair dryer, extra blankets and a fan. I did find a couple of design choices about this particular room to be unusual; not only was there no main overhead light that lit up the whole bedroom area, the air conditioner was on the far side of the room and didn't directly reach one of the beds. I ended up leaving it on for some time to ensure the room was cool enough before going to bed. Being able to park directly outside the room was excellent and the site itself was easy to get in and out of. Also be aware that you need to check in at the bottle shop next door, not the restaurant! Otherwise it was a good stay and I'd happily consider staying here again.

IInvitéWe stayed for 3 nights in July to visit the penguin parade. Overall it was fairly good value, but it really is a motel. On check in I was advised the restaurant and bar isn’t open at all today….on a Sunday, in school holidays! This was very disappointing. The location is great - the beach is just down the end of the road, and the main streets of town about 5 mins drive away. There’s a small kids playground on site - better suited for younger kids I’d say 3 and under, and another bigger one at the end of the street overlooking the beach….for all ages. Their website advertises a jumping pillow, which my kids were excited about - but it’s been dismantled - so heads up to any who also see that on the website…it’s no longer operating. We went for a walk to the beach - though never found it! We walked about 5 mins to the end of the property and came to a door that led to a promenade, that was not even beach front - but we couldn’t get back through it if we walked out (luckily I checked as would have been stranded a long walk around otherwise!!). The best part about the “resort” was the hot spa. It’s 35-38 degrees….and absolute heaven. It’s also under cover, so we had no idea it was raining when we were in there! BUT - something they didn’t tell me on check in, nor is it in the guest information folder - you have to request they turn it on so it’s hot when you want it. We were lucky in day 1 and 2, but on our last day it wasn’t hot when we went in. It took about an hour to heat up, not too bad - but very important information they do not make known. We all had a shower in the evening and our bathroom literally flooded. I had to use multiple towels to mop up the water and make it safe, so my small children didn’t slip over. I couldn’t call for more towels or assistance as reception had closed. This was a problem every day, there was clearly a drainage issue in our unit - I called the Manager in on the last day and he took videos and acknowledged there was a problem. They were great to offer plenty of towels, and brought some protein balls as treats for the kids. We had a 2 bedroom motel room, which was a good size with a kitchenette. Though another flaw is that there’s no instructions for how to use the convection cooktop. They provide a guest folder with instructions for WiFi and AC and lots of other info - but nothing on the cooktop (or the spa bookings!). I tried for 10 mins, reception was closed, but then googled it and got it working. It was a real frustration at that time of the evening after a long day.

PPortillaLa chambre est propre et spacieuse au cœur de la cuisine et de la boutique. Le parking est juste en dehors de l'unité qui permet de faciliter le chargement et le déchargement des bagages. Nous avons eu un séjour confortable. Si vous check-in tard (6h et après) appelez-les pour qu'ils puissent laisser les clés derrière vous. Il y a un chauffage si ça fait trop froid.

IInvitéUnfortunately, it was not the relaxing getaway my fiancée and I thought it would be. We're not very hard to please and are happy to stay mostly anywhere as long as there's a comfy bed and quiet. We stayed two nights in the garden villa which was the most premium and expensive room on offer, expecting a secluded and private area to ourselves, which for the most part is what we got. Visually, the garden surrounding the villa is stunning with a delightful view of greenery and nature, and there is no one else who stays in that area behind the main building. The room itself was eclectic in decor which was a welcome change to stay somewhere with unique tastes as opposed to the usual and generic designs of modern accommodation. The spa in the room was great and worked very well, it was warm and the jets were functioning fine. However, we had the horrible luck of staying on two nights where there was a family, with children, staying directly above us. The ceiling feels like it's paper thin and you can hear every footstep that people are taking above, specifically when they walk down the hallway to use the bathroom (yes you can tell their movements due to the 10 - 12 steps they take followed soon after by the sound of a toilet flushing and then another 10 - 12 steps and someone going down stairs). This would usually be semi-bearable, as the occasional sound of someone walking back and forth is still annoying, but fine. But as mentioned earlier, there were children staying up there and they insisted on running back and forth down that hallway so many times throughout the day, and especially the early morning, that it became extremely frustrating to hear. I tried to take an afternoon nap when we arrived after being so exhausted from the travel and was woken up by the sound of thumping footsteps running back and forth. As these two nights were supposed to be our little getaway from our own kids, and a chance for us to have a relaxing sleep in, we wanted to nip this problem in the bud immediately. We reported the noise to the proprietor Jenni on the first night, Jenni was very friendly and assured us that she would speak to the family about the kids' running around. We later spoke over the phone again to the other proprietor, Harley who was also very friendly (and characteristically humourous) about the situation, reassuring us that the family had been spoken to. Harley also mentioned that the family was in fact, their own family visiting from the UK (as this site also appears to be the actual residence of the two proprietors). I am unsure of the logistics of this situation, but personally, I believe that having your own family members stay at the location, but cause disruption to the paying customers, is an unfair and detrimental business decision. The next morning I was woken up at approximately 7:00am to the sound of children's feet running back and forth and thumping above me again. JJenny HLes chambres sont confortables, les chambres confortables, les douches chaudes, le lit confortable sont toutes disponibles. 5 minutes à pied des boutiques de San Remo. Beauté plage 5 minutes de marche du motel sur Back Beach Road où le motel est situé. Le parking devant la chambre était énorme. L'espace était plein pour ouvrir vos portes. Le seul négatif était la lumière du veranda, il était laissé toute la nuit et il a fait dormir difficile.
