L'attitude du service est très bonne, la décoration de l'hôtel est un peu vieillotte, très connue dans le quartier, et l'hôtel est relativement haut. Parce que c'est le Bangladesh, il ne peut pas exiger un très bon cadre de vie, les installations ne sont pas comparables aux hôtels domestiques et l'attitude est meilleure que domestique.

I recently completed a two-week visit to Bangladesh and stayed at three different hotels. I will not only review them in detail but give an overview of my experience of budget hotels in Bangladesh as a tourist. Most of my thoughts, comments, and opinions on all three of these properties are the same so there will be some copying and pasting in these reviews. Tourists wishing to arrive in Bangladesh and receive a visa on arrival (VOA) are advised to have hotel bookings and Proof of Onward Travel (POOT). I made both hard and digital copies of all my bookings and they were checked at both the airline check-in counter and immigration in Dhaka. However, no one was interested in more than a few days of hotel bookings and I only presented hotel reservations for the first four nights. This is important for those of us who are plan-as-you-go travelers and don’t like to make bookings ahead of time. In the future, I will only book the first few nights and see how that goes. I ended up canceling several reservations (bookings) I made through Agoda because I changed my plans, and now, I have no doubt you can get a better price by simply walking in. On with the review of the hotel Pragati Inn: This hotel is close to the airport and was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, my room was extremely noisy because of the local road traffic. It is also a bit too far from Old Dhaka if you intend on exploring the most interesting parts of the city. This is a typical Asian-style budget hotel: a bit dated and could use some maintenance and a coat of paint. Having said that, the room and bathroom were surprisingly clean, and the air-conditioning and hot water were excellent. A complimentary breakfast was included in the price, but I did not try it. The wi-fi was so-so, in all three hotels I stayed at. I thought that the price I paid through Agoda ($45.75 USD) was a bit high for what I got. The owner of the hotel confirmed that if I were to book directly with the hotel, I could get a room for roughly half the price. I would only return here if I needed to be close to the airport.

Excellent location central. Personnel sont magnifiques et toujours là pour aider. Les chambres étaient grandes et propres. Le petit déjeuner était magnifique, vert avec roti, fruit, jus, thé ou un choix de petit déjeuner continental. Nous avons séjourné en famille dans un appartement de deux chambres. Nous avons laissé tout notre argent et nos biens à l'appartement quand nous sommes sortis sans aucun problème. Nous sommes revenus pour collecter les bagages, nous avons été offerts de thé sur la maison. Le personnel sort de leur chemin et je resterai certainement ici à l'avenir. Le personnel a résolu cette situation en aspirant un aérosol, et c'est le Bangladesh et vous trouverez des aérosols où que vous allez, vous ne pouvez pas être détachés.

IInvitéJ'ai laissé mon nouveau téléphone coûteux dans ma chambre à l'extérieur de l'hôtel, et j'ai réalisé que cela n'était qu'une heure plus tard. Le directeur de la sécurité, le gestionnaire de la maison et le gestionnaire de banquets ont tout fait pour m'aider, s'engager dans la chambre et entretenir le personnel de la maison. Le téléphone n'était pas trouvé, mais même si je suis prêt à renoncer (Recovering lost/stolen items in Bangladesh est un miracle), ils m'ont insisté pour que je les laisse aller à la police pour moi pour déposer une plainte. Je n'ai pas laissé d'espoir, mais incroyablement, beaucoup d'heures plus tard, le GM de l'hôtel m'a contacté pour me dire qu'ils avaient trouvé le dispositif après tout, et pour s'assurer qu'il était retourné à moi dans la nuit. Je suis très reconnaissant pour les niveaux inattendus de service et d'honnêteté!

Le service de la piscine et du restaurant sont très aimables. La qualité de la nourriture dans tous les restaurants est bonne. En général, il était un hôtel préfectueux et a particulièrement apprécié le café de complimentation quotidien dans la salle de bains.

PPetDimSelon la norme européenne, c'est un endroit de 3 étoiles perdu. Si vous regardez à l'extérieur à Dhaka, c'est un paradis. J'étais dans une chambre sans fenêtre. La fenêtre était cachée derrière un panneau de gypse. Le bruit de cette fenêtre bloquée était grand. Je pense que la fenêtre derrière a été brisée et vous êtes sur la rue. C'était très sale. J'ai demandé une autre chambre. La nouvelle était beaucoup mieux et plus propre. Internet est très lent. Connexion diminue de temps en temps. Petit déjeuner est pauvre. Les restants du dîner et quelques articles très fondamentaux. Le service de l'hôtel est questionable. Ils traitent les blancs comme une source infinie d'argent. Pour un transfert de voiture sur la même place, dans deux tours différents avec 2 gars différents à la réception, j'ai été demandé de payer 500 et 1000 BDT. Et personne ne se sent coupable de nous avoir trompés. La qualité de l'immeuble est très faible - pas d'isolation sonore, l'air conditionné fonctionne en mode froid mais vous ne pouvez pas contrôler la température. Les serviettes sentent sur la moule. L'ascenseur sent. À partir de l'hôtel ils ont organisé une tour de ville. Le type avec la voiture ne parlait pas anglais et m'a demandé un adresse au début du tour de la ville. DDileepIls ont essayé de me donner une chambre plus petite qui n'est pas la même que ce que j'ai réservé .. Et j'étais super choquée au début quand j'ai vu la chambre .. Après, j'ai allé à la réception pour plaindre et ils essaient de me demander plus de payer mais je ne suis pas d'accord. Enfin , ils offrent un peu plus grand , un peu plus similaire à celui que j' ai réservé .
