Today we had lunch at greenhill and was discussed to hear a man complaining behind us about the food and the people that ate there. How rude. Proberbly just wanting it for nothing. The food and staff are always polite and attentive. They always ask how is your meal. It is good value and always served by brilliant staff. Nothing is too much trouble. My friends and I have re booked for there delicious Sunday lunch again.

Ce qui est un hôtel fabuleux. Payé pour un Premier Double qui n'a pas déçu. Une belle zone de siège de la baie avec vue sur les collines et le lac. Ainsi calme et un beau fond. L'hôtel était sumptueux, le petit déjeuner était délicieux et beaucoup de choix. Le personnel était très aimable. Prendre l'une des marches que l'hôtel avait suggérée, écrit sur papier que vous pouviez prendre avec vous. Wow ... stunning. Même une déterrence sur notre chemin. La chambre est très confortable et très confortable et est très appréciée, car nous avons eu le temps le plus chaud pendant notre séjour.

C'est un bâtiment historique qui peut être rappelé en 1548, avec 11 maîtres, et maintenant un spa. L'hôtel a une grande partie de terrain, les cowboys sont en groupes devant la porte, l'autre côté du restaurant a un très bon paysage du lac et une grande partie de l'herbe, les bêtes et les pinces sautent souvent dans les prairies et les forêts. Vous pouvez parcourir une route jusqu'au lac et vous promener dans la forêt. L'hôtel est très ancien. Le spa a une piscine chaude, une piscine froide, une piscine chaude, et une piscine chaude à l'extérieur, face à une grande partie de la prairie et des forêts, vraiment très confortable. Il faut seulement noter que le départ à 11 heures doit être effectué avant le départ et que le prix à payer à 20 tonnes par personne après 11 heures.

On arrival in the pouring rain 3.45pm door to inn was locked, knocked on the door and lady shouted we are closed, come back at 4pm, 15mins? I said we are staying she said we are not ready. Ok! But no apologies just a bit rude, so we went for a coffee Came back after meeting up with my young family, my son and fiancé and 2 boys 3&5, my daughter 7 months pregnant husband and toddler 2 We requested a table for dinner and after some discussion were shown to the family side of the inn, very nice. We checked into our room while the family settled in to order for kids so not too late(5.30) Ordered drinks and a full family meal for 6 adults 3 kids which was lovely kids well behaved, at 6.30 popped upstairs with the toddler and boys to put PJs on. they were staying at the camp site 5 mins away that’s why we booked the Trout beck Inn, to be close to them just down the rd We had just finished dinner and the weather had changed to strong winds, so bad there was a weather warning announcement, we asked could we book 2 more rooms and were told no! although they were available they couldn’t access the booking system? So we suggested we booked tonight and paid tomorrow as weather so bad to go back to camp site with the kids Still no compromise a NO I total understand policy and procedures but this was handled all wrong even a phone call could have been made to possibly get permission surely it’s about sales! And filling rooms So we suggested my daughter pregnant and the toddler stay in our room and we would stay at camp! For their safety Again we were told NO toddler not insured? Ok understand but to say no to my day couldn’t stay 7 months pregnant, ridiculous and unacceptable ……morning - We were told on arrival please fill in Your breakfast form the night before and with all the fuss with room request and bad weather getting everyone out safely we forgot , so in the morning - breakfast served 8-9am on website, We asked at 8.30 if we could have some breakfast and lady said NO you didn’t fill in your form ! Honestly ridiculous attitude, we were told - We cook to order and buy in per order the night before ? Really So I’m not sure how that works for an Inn who can provide full evening menus unannounced but breakfast is a no go! How can a property who is providing accommodation and food as a service not have eggs, bacon, sausage,mushrooms or even cereals etc on site. 🤔 She did eventually offer toast but not with a smile Just unbelievable service and attitude, I can say one man from the bar helped by getting ice for us when the lady said she didn’t have any left so thank you to that gentleman. Seems so short sighted that the Inn itself is lovely rooms are good, but the rest is all desperately disappointing and unacceptable front of house service was uncaring and just not guest friendly really let the Inn down. A lovely warm welcome at this stunning location was what I and my daughter experienced Aug 2024. The house and gardens are beautiful. The room was really beautiful. Warm decor made a really cosy feel. Its the little touches which actually set this stay above the rest. Real milk for the fridge, bathrobes to borrow and fluffy towels. The breakfast was delicious with a huge choice. It was so well presented and tasted amazing!

Fantastique petit Inn. Vous avez séjourné une nuit entre les activités du district du lac à honnête et à butterre. À environ 30 minutes de marche de chacun. À travers la route du lac bassantwaite qui était parfait pour se refroidir après un jour actif. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 25 qui était joyeux! Perfect pour une famille de quatre. Lieutenant petit jardin communal avec une banque de pique-nique. Easy parking. Personnel mignon, et la nourriture était grande! Vous reviendrez certainement!

La chambre est très propre, les propriétaires et le personnel très aimable, un bon bar et la cuisine était excellente. Il y a des choses mineures qui pourraient être améliorées, c'est-à-dire en pleine place de sièges extérieurs devant le bâtiment et peut-être mettre quelques baskets plus attachés , il semble que les propriétaires ont commencé à faire des améliorations, donc tout en tout un séjour très agréable. Un mot d' avertissement ne commande pas un débutant si vous avez le mini grill mixte sauf si vous pouvez manger un cheval c' est énorme et très agréable , compliments aux chefs
