Le restaurant est très bon et semble bien formé et personnelle, mal choisi, de qualité et coûteux - juste parti avec près de 6 £ pour une pinte suivie de 17 £ pour un risotto qui avait presque zéro goût servit si vite il doit avoir été micro-ondes. Les petits-déjeuners sont bons avec un choix chaud et froid décent

Très déçu quand nous avons réservé un hôtel spa et n'a pas réalisé que nous devions payer plus pour utiliser les installations.

L'hôtel est très historique et très vieux. Assis dans la salle de banquet, commander un verre de cognac et écouter de la musique classique est très sensationnel. J'ai séjourné dans la suite Elizabeth, dans le grenier de trois étages, ce n'était pas aussi bien que je le pensais. Il y a quelques tas de bois au milieu de la pièce, ça fait bizarre ! L'entrée et la sortie de la salle de bain devaient s'incliner et la porte était courte. La clé est qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, vous devez déplacer vos bagages pour monter dans l'immeuble ! Les escaliers sont très étroits, ou ceux qui tournent en rond. Les marches sont des pierres polies. Bien que la réceptionniste me l'ait demandé à l'ENREGISTREMENT, dois-je transporter les bagages pour vous ? Mais je sens que je n'ai toujours pas l'habitude de les déranger. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, il en existe de nombreux types, et vous pouvez commander certains repas. Bref, j'ai l'impression que le prix n'est pas élevé, ce qui est le classement inférieur de l'hôtel dans cet hôtel.

Location perfect for accessing Bristol - and just off the M5. Parking free. Rooms quiet, clean & warm and beds extremely comfortable with beautiful pillows. Fantastic shower. We would also highly recommend the integral Black Sheep pub serving delicious continental breakfasts (the pain aux raisins were to die for) as well as traditional English bacon/ sausage butties. The staff were, without exception, polite and efficient. We are fussy when it comes to where we stay but we honestly would not hesitate in giving our 2 night stay a 10/10.

My sister and (now) sister in law got married at this hotel last weekend and it was absolutely amazing. We had our two children with us and one uses a wheelchair so we were given inter joining rooms on the ground floor which was really helpful. The staff ran round all day to get everything ready for the wedding at 4pm. They carried gifts, table decorations, props and most importantly kept the brides separated until the ceremony. Food was fantastic, DJ was great. Everyone went above and beyond. If there was one little negative it was that there were a few guests who stayed who weren’t part of the wedding party which is fine but they complained about the noise and one guest actually took to banging on people’s doors. The outside guests should be told there will be a wedding and perhaps put in rooms away from the main wedding party. We got some dirty looks at breakfast! Other than that it was great. I overheard a guest complaining about his room because it was ‘old’ but it’s a grade 2 listed building! Someone also complained about how long it took to be served at the bar… again it was a wedding so there were quite a few guests. Take the ‘desperately needs updating’ comments with a pinch of salt.. you want modern go to a travel lodge. You want character go to the grange
