The property is a beautiful, nestled amongst tea plantation and with 29 semi detached cottages, the stay offers privacy and views of the plantation right from your balcony- yes every cottage has a balcony facing the tea plantation. You can walk down to most of the view points like Pothamedu view point. And if not, take your pics stepping right outside the property gates. We stayed in luxury cottage with 3 adults and 1 child. The rooms are spacious and furnished, not luxury level but enough to give you a good stay. In the evening, the clouds descend onto your balcony literally. The restaurant offers complimentary breakfast and paid lunch and dinner (Rs 400 plus taxes) and it was good option. The road leading to the property from view point is a bit rough and needs good driving skills. If you are uncomfortable, pls ask property to send a driver. Pls do carry BSNL sim since no other service works here. Ask for Wi-Fi password at property. Overall I will definitely recommend Tea Valley Munnar to all my friends

Excellent Location and Views Stayed at this beautiful resort this weekend for 1 Night with family and we had a wonderful time. We did not have much expectations, but we were wonderfully surprised by 1. The location of the resort. Truly this is the highest point in Munnar. Mist filled rooms and surroundings. 2. The AlaCarte dinner was very tasty and surprisingly reasonably priced. The breakfast was the highlight, with the Appam and chicken Stew taking the top price. They had quite good spread as well. Hats off to Chef Jijesh and team for making this memorable for the food alone. 3. Excellent views from the bedrooms and balcony. The sunset view was supposed to be great, but we missed that due to rains. 4. The rooms were neat and well kept and the staff were also very responsive to any requests. There was a common camp fire, a play area and a view point. The road to the property was also fine if you are coming from the Hydel Park side and it is just 4km from the bridge. If you are approaching from Munnar Bypass then the road is good, but steep for the last 5 km. A good place to relax and spent some quality time with family with some excellent food..

We recently stayed at this resort in Munnar. It was an exceptional experience, with breathtaking views of a beautiful landscape. The overall ambience was wonderful. The serene and comfortable atmosphere was an addition to everything. The hospitality was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. The warmth and eagerness they have portrayed to welcome us were exceptional. It was my dad’s birthday, and we just wanted to spend some time in a nice space, and Camelot was indeed the best option. The commitment to provide a high standard of quality in everything. Also, the food was just mouth-watering. I cannot imagine getting such amazing food in such a chic and appealing atmosphere. The way they arranged the restaurant for my dad was also exemplary. Overall, the stay was just perfect. I can't wait to return!!!

Staff talk politely, but room and maintainence is worst. We shifted to better hotel on day 1 itself after booking it for 2 days through online 5 days before our trip... They say that all the rooms are booked but it doesn't seem so... They gave a room in underground floor which is completely dark and had no view to outside... While the pics in the website show all rooms provided with a balcony open to mountain viewing... On asking they took extra charges to upgrade it to ground florr which had no basic amenities even a budget hotel could provide.. No doormats no toiletries no hot water.. Bedding looked shabby and unclean.. We immediately booked another better hotel outside and shifted their with no refund for the cancelled room... Can go only if you have no choice otherwise..

IInvitéAn excellent hotel with top price value central to all excursions, trekking and tour offers with public or private buses and tour providers. The rooms are clean, have hot water and offer all standard comfort. The hotel operator is available to help with any questions you may have about munnar or anything else about the stay. It was a wonderful stay for exploring the national parks and beautiful surroundings.

We had a very long drive 7 and hours by car so long but when we arrived we got a warm welcoming from the checkin staff From Sweta Varun, Tom made us feel so comfortable as we we’re exhausted traveling here by car, in-fact Sweta did the formality in checking in, then she guided us to a beautiful spacious room with a plunge pool it made us feel relaxed, and then later we met the Food and Beverages staff first of it was Miritunjay Videya,listen, and a tall waiter I cannot remember his name, and the head chef and his junior chef and all the food and beverages staff were so hospitable and they didn’t hesitate doing anything for you, 100 percent of being helpful to our preferences, and also the housekeeping staff Renjit, Soumya, they cleaned our room perfectly clean, we was satisfied from them both we thought they both Cleaned our perfectly, with their hard work of Cleanliness, everyone working there made us feel relaxed and comfortable after we toured around tea plantations and many places we toured to, then back to have delicious meals at the Scenic Taj was worth waiting for. Even the garden staff were so friendly. We will come to beautiful peaceful Hotel Scenic by Taj in future.

IInvitéStopped here for a light lunch, the restaurant is at the back of the building so no views. Staff were friendly enough. Sadly, kitchen staff don't really understand the concept of sandwiches. We ordered 2 soups, 4 different sandwiches and 2 portions of fries. The soup and fries arrived first. Then a cheese and tomato sandwich arrived, on burned toast, topped with cucumber and cherries! An egg sandwich arrived a few minutes later, fried egg on burned toast with the same toppings. A chicken sandwich arrived 5 minutes later, shredded chicken, loads of onion and mayo on toast. And finally the club sandwich arrived...6 slices of toast, 2 with chicken and onion, 2 with cheese and mushrooms and 2 with cucumber and tomato!! And all plates came with additional fries, the waiter should have said! The menu doesn't make it clear that the sandwiches are toasted and chef should ensure they are not all burned. Service was slow and staggered. Not somewhere that I could recommend for a light lunch.

IInvitéIt's a nice resort with a great view of the forest. A good place for a family vacation. The breakfast buffet was also decent with north and south indian dishes. They provided us jeep service for pick up and drop off to the property as it's connected by a very steep road. Overall a good stay.
