Mon fils de 16 ans a malheureusement laissé son passeport sur le comptoir lors de son départ. Quelque 11 jours plus tard, il s'est rendu compte qu'il manquait ! Il se rendait à l'aéroport de Munich avec son équipe pour prendre son vol de retour. Panique!! J'ai appelé l'hôtel et ils ont confirmé sa mémoire. J'ai demandé s'ils pouvaient éventuellement envoyer ce passeport via DHL (ou Fedex) à son hôtel de l'aéroport de Munich et je les paierais maintenant quoi qu'il en coûte. Ils ne pouvaient pas faire cela, m’a-t-on dit, c’était contraire à leur politique. J'ai réservé DHL pour récupérer le passeport, ils ont dit qu'ils le pouvaient, et je suis allé le chercher et j'ai exigé que l'hôtel paie en premier, malgré notre réservation indiquant que les frais seraient payés par notre fils. DHL a maintenant refusé. Nous sommes maintenant vendredi après-midi, Fedex n'a pas pu venir nous chercher avant le week-end, donc mon fils est resté coincé dans un hôtel de l'aéroport de Munich pour le week-end jusqu'à ce que nous puissions prendre d'autres dispositions la semaine suivante. J'ai appelé Record Hotel au moins 6 fois et je les ai suppliés d'aider un jeune de 16 ans coincé seul dans un hôtel. J'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises à parler au directeur général, qui, pendant 3 jours après mon appel, n'était jamais disponible. Après 6 jours/nuits, mon fils a reçu son passeport via Fedex, organisé par nous-mêmes. Mon seul compliment à Record Hotel est que Fabio, le responsable de la réception, a été très serviable, mais il était tenu de ne pas aider par les règles de son employeur. Pourquoi ils n'auraient pas pu appeler le chef d'équipe de notre fils environ 11 jours plus tôt pour lui dire qu'il y avait un passeport de 16 ans laissé derrière eux, ce serait une solution sans stress.
