hôtel très propre et confortable. Bon petit déjeuner gratuit. Beau piscine et tube chaud. Les lits très confortables. Une remerciement spécial à Sandra qui était au bureau de front. Elle est si utile. Ne peut pas attendre de rester à nouveau.

Nous avons eu un séjour inattendu à Homewood Suites par Hilton Poughkeepsie. Kerry Connelly et son personnel étaient merveilleux. Quelle que soit l'heure du jour où vous êtes accueillis par un personnel ami. Excellent petit déjeuner buffet. Piscine, merveilleux espace extérieur avec feu. Bienvenue mercredi soir était super. Si vous appelez pour des serviettes supplémentaires il n'y a pas de temps d'attente. Pét ami. Ils nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous. Merci!

We had a death in the family, so we had to make quick arrangements, and the place we stayed in the last time was booked. This one was cerainly acceptable, although the room was smaller and the general ambiance was somewhat less than at our prior choice. The sticking point for me was that the room price doesn't include breakfast. There's a Starbucks in the lobby where you can get a limited hot menu. It is totally my faut for not having read the website carefully enough, of course. But I would have made another choice if i'd been aware of that.

This new property scores well on the major points: Clean room, comfortable bed and quiet. However, the entire property has a very sterile, hospital-like appearance. Breakfast was edible but that's about it. Other than the cleaning staff, who was friendly and cheerful, the rest of the staff could learn to smile and say hello. If you can get a room at a reasonable price then this hotel is a good value. But at $350+ for one night, look elsewhere.

My family and I stayed one night this past weekend. There are some definite areas in need of improvement at this location. To be fair, I'll start with the good. Check-in was easy and the front desk was friendly and helpful. The two queen sized beds were comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with Dove products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap. The staff brought us extra towels (we had 2 in the room for a reservation for 4 people) and a blanket for the sofa bed. On the down side, the hallways smelled like a whole lot of bleach was used to clean something up, but never really got rid of the old odor. Our ”suite” was a main room with two queen beds and smaller room with a pull out couch and a desk. That room had an overhead light but no desk lamp. The mattress was awful and I feel guilty as a parent that my son slept on it. The AC/heating unit had a leak, so the carpet under it was completely soaked. In the bathroom, the shower curtain rod was coming loose from the wall so the curtain did not stay in place. This caused a bit of flood on the floor. Our room rate came with breakfast. It was not up to the level of free breakfasts I've gotten at Hampton Inn or Homewood Suites (no waffle maker!). I would not have paid the $12.99 posted for it. There was also an outdoor seating area that looked lovely on the website (not to mention a pool table that I couldn't find), but in reality was a few chairs behind the hotel next to a creek. The walk to the fitness center was confusing and a little creepy (I would avoid 100-level rooms). I'm sure someone will say that I should have brought these things to the attention of the staff, but on a one night stay it was not practical. There are many other hotels within a few miles of this one. They looked newer on the outside and I would choose any of them over this location in the future.

I have stayed at this location 4 or 5 times now in each room category they offer and it is always clean, quiet and friendly. Breakfast os the typical waffles /eggs/ meat /juice etc but it’s good. Staff is friendly and very accommodating when something is needed. Parking is easy and well lit. I have tried other hotels in the area and will never stay anywhere but here while in Poughkeepsie. This hotel has my business till my daughter is done with college.

Le prix n'a pas été négocié. L'hôtel n'est pas facile à localiser. Décharger ma voiture je me suis déplacé sur la courbe et j'ai blessé mes genoux et mes jambes plus un cou. Nous y sommes arrivés à 2PM et aucune chambre n'était prête. L'hôtel Mgr. a pris un rapport d'accident mais n'a pas proposé de rénumérisation pour les blessures que j'ai reçues. Si je pouvais attacher des photos, vous verriez combien la zone de curbe est mauvaise. Il faut réparer cela!!!

Le personnel de la table frontale était très personnel et amiable. Il nous a saluté dès notre arrivée. Nous avons découvert que nous avions réservé la mauvaise date, et le personnel était extrêmement utile et réglé le problème rapidement et professionnellement. Nous étions très impressionnés par tout. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la chambre, l'espace est très propre Et la disposition du lieu est beaucoup mieux que tout autre hôtel que nous avons été. Et nous avons voyager autour des États-Unis depuis deux mois. La chambre sent très belle. La télévision est énervée et le Soundsystem est super. J'ai dormi très bien et c'est beaucoup parce que je suis proche d'insomnie, et toute petite chose comme le bruit ou l'odeur dans les hôtels me ferait sentir mal. Comme je voyage encore, je dois aller à la prochaine position, mais si je pouvais, j'aurais été plus longtemps parce que j'aime l'hôtel si bien !

We traveled to Poughkeepsie to see a show at the Rhinebeck Center for Performing Arts. After checking a number of hotels, I chose the Holiday Inn Express as the location was good, price was right, and reader ratings were fine. I'm glad we chose the Holiday Inn Express. The room was well-appointed, staff was friendly, and breakfast offerings were fresh and plentiful, although I would have liked some non-sweetened cold cereal offerings. The only downside was that housekeeping made up our bathroom on the second morning, but not the bedroom. We advised the front desk, which made amends. We recommend it.
