I booked this hotel for 5 days through Priceline. When I checked in, I asked for a first floor room because I have a heavy bag and did not want to carry it up the stairs because I did not see an elevator. When I got in the room, the whole room was very filthy. The ceiling in the bedroom area had mold approximately two feet diameter. I checked the bathroom and the ceiling was molded also approximately a foot in diameter. The whole room was just filthy. I went back to the front desk and told the person working that the room she gave me was filthy. She gave me an attitude telling me, “Well, you’re the one who wanted the first floor!” Apparently, it’s my fault for asking for a room on the first floor and that it had mold. So, she gave me the second floor room. Since it’s the second floor, there’s no third floor, there was no mold on the ceiling. It was a little late and I just decided to stay. In the middle of the night, I saw a couple of roaches in the bathroom area. I ignored it because it’s was too late to find another hotel and I used my money for Knights Inn. The next day, I was out and about so I wasn’t in the room all day. I got back, I saw roaches again. Then I got curious and checked the pillows. I removed the pillow cases and the pillows are yellowish brown from not being washed and dried out bodily fluids or whatever it was. Since it was late, I have decided that I will check out the next morning and just ask for the refund for the rest of the days I won’t be staying. The next day, I asked to check out and told the person why I’m checking out early. It’s the same person who gave me the attitude the day I checked in. I asked to get a refund but she refused and told me I had to get it from the third party where I reserved it from. I told them that I called Priceline and that Priceline told me that they have to refund it to me since the money was already given to them. She told me she can’t do anything. I am currently reporting them to State Health Services and reporting them to their company. The hotel is a health hazard. Do not stay.

Le motel est sale, bruyant et le personnel est questionable au mieux. N'AVENT PAS LES MENTIONS À L'ÉTAT ! ! J'ai commandé un paquet qu'il est arrivé au motel le samedi et j'ai été réservé pour arriver le dimanche. Le traceur a indiqué que le paquet est arrivé à 5h12 le samedi juillet 10 au bureau frontal Le paquet a été adressé à moi avec (GUEST) indiqué après mon nom. Quand j'ai demandé le paquet à mon arrivée, j'ai été donné le tour jusqu'à ce que je vérifie le lendemain (avec le produit) Je suis assez sûr que ” quelqu'un” a mon paquet, mais je vous laisserai prendre ce que vous voulez de ce poste. En général, je ne resterai jamais ici. Le prix inférieur ne vaut pas la peine d'ajouter au coût de ma parcelle manquante. Il y a un bon Best Western pas loin.

The room looked clean, on the small side tho. With suitcases on the floor, not much room to walk around. The shower was good pressure, hot water and shower head was tall. They supply a 2 in 1 shampoo which may work for some but not all. I was thankful that I had saved the conditioner from a previous hotel stay. Now for areas of improvement: staff unfriendly. Called to see if they had a rollaway bed or cot they flat out said no. When asked if we could get additional blankets and pillows, flat out said no. Felt no use to ask for towels so reused what we had. ”Free WiFi” password given didn't work when we asked for it, not offered at check in. Sometimes a little kindness goes a long way. Will not make this a stop on any future trips.

This new hotel (3 years old) is a very nice Hampton Inn. Our bayside room (#409) was large and very comfortable. Located on the 4th floor we had a great view. It is conveniently located to a small shopping/ eating area and was easy to get to Coronado Island. This Hampton Inn had a bar and served bar type food in the evening. It was very pleasant and we enjoyed getting to relax at the end of our day. The bartender was so nice . We didn't use the pool and it really was not very attractive. Located on the back side of the hotel, it really was inviting.
