Hotel was very handily situated in the town centre , clean with tea/coffee making facilities and had parking opposite (which is extra). The seagullls where very noisy .

Location was great for all amenities
Staff were friendly and helpful
Rooms are so stuffy it was hot and unpleasant to sleep windows only open 2 inches and the fans did very little to cool the room! Probably won’t use travelodhe again because it was so uncomfortable in the heat

Plusieurs voyages à Clacton depuis plusieurs années et toujours une réservation au travelodge. Lorraine sera vous accueillir avec sa bonne humeur. Les chambres sont très biens entretenues et la literie parfaite. Hôtel pas cher et à proximité du pier Je conseille vivement .

This Travelodge building does not look like the photo. It has scaffolding over it & very dirty on the outside, which actually made it look like a derelict building. When you enter the building there is no greeting as the reception is on the 1st floor. Our room was terrible, the bed was visibly damaged, the duvet cover stained, one pillow per person & you can feel the springs in the mattress. There were holes in the walls, some you could see were badly patched up. The bathroom soap dispensers were empty & mold in places. The lights on headboard stopped working. This was a last thought booking as we was doing a day trip then decided to stay the night. My first & definitely last time at a Travelodge.

Only came down to Clacton for a getaway but had a lovely stay and such lovely staff can’t complain definitely stay again

Staff were all very nice and I was able to get access to my room a little earlier then check in time. ThevBedroom and bathroom were well maintained and clean. Hand and shower gel provided. Complimentary Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and I was able to get a couple extra during my 2 nights. Great value for money.

Staff is wonderfully maria was such a help she helped me with all the information I needed room was clean right next to town so all ameties are close near all transport close will diffently rebook will recommend to family and friends so close to beach

I would not recommend going here as a solo female. I did not feel safe. I believe the hotel may be housing homeless solo males. Every person I encountered seemed to be under the influence. I was woken up by the sound of vomiting at 3am. The area also felt unsafe to walk around at night. The room was perfectly clean and functional.
