Was upgraded to a bigger room with pull out sofa. Management scolded us the next day for pulling it out and sleeping on it. Due to it being new and not meant for sleeping on. Management admitted to snooping through room while family was gone to make sure we weren't sneaking people in. Then back tracked and said it was Housekeeping. Even though no cleaning was done during our stay. Which is why were asking for extra shampoo/towels daily.

Very poor beds. They need to upgrade/replace the beds. Talked to four others and their beds were the same, hard and uncomfortable.

The room smelled strongly of chemicals. The pictures do not represent the hotel honestly. It is old and dark and I did not feel safe. Checked out because of that and they kept $200 of my funds. Jared was lovely. I tried to explain to the manager what happened only to be told that there would be no refund. She never picked up the phone to hear what I had to say but inferred that I may not be telling the truth. Safety is paramount to single women travelers. The chemical smell was extremely strong and I knew I could not tolerate it. After working 20 years in the hospitality field I understand how to assist folks. The manager did not. Contacting th executive offices of Wyndham did help. Sherri clearly understands the importance of customer care.
