A town with lots of history and buildings to match Nicely renovated property in a good location, that was peaceful. 15 minute walk from bus station or ferry. Do not expect to wheel suitcases along footpaths or street as you’ll struggle due to cobble stone streets and corrugated pavers on all footpaths. Rooms average size. This is been an old place re branded and renovated hence limited reviews. Pros Good shower and clean rooms. Wine by the glass for sale, which was well thought out option. Great breakfast spread but no cooked options. Friendly staff. Clean and with a modern twist in heritage building. Cons Communal coffee making facilities, no coffee in room. Tricky digital door locks but understand the reasoning. No block out curtains so lights from courtyard were lighting up the room as i tried to sleep, and you have to get undressed in the bathroom or in the dark as if anyone was passing by your door in the courtyard and you had the lights on you’d see through the net curtains in to the room. No wardrobe just a mobile rail on wheels. Above average. Well worth a visit, and true ambience.
