Al Porticciolo di Sant'Agostino

My husband and I are currently staying 3 nights. Stefano, our host, has provided us with an extremely large room which we thought was big until we saw the huge bathroom! Great location close to everything. Stefano also left us a fridge of drinks which were all free to have. Never seen that before. Thanks Stefano for making us feel so welcome.

Excellent location very clean updated and modern apartment. Near many gift shops, great restaurants and attractions. Easy walk from train station and to excursion boats Stephano was very accommodating and a great host You won’t be disappointed

Fabulous location and big spacious , comfortable room . Stefano was so welcoming . Very secure premises, walking distance to everything . Closest station is Como Lago which is approx 200 metres. Can walk from Giovanni station but a bit trickier with a lot of steps and cobblestones . Thank you Stefano you are Comos best kept secret !

This was a great base for our stay at lake Como. Great location, we could see the lake from our window. Close to boat terminal and about 15 minutes from the train station from Milan. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Room was comfortable with good facilities. The host was great, Stefano was very accommodating and helpful.

Perfect location and fabulous host. The bedroom was spacious and nicely decorated. Bathroom was modern and thoughtfully outfitted. There was bottled water, coffee and tea on the desk, and a lovely bottle of regional wine in the mini fridge. Stefano is a most gracious host. We elected not to have daily service on our room, but he gave us his phone number in case we changed our minds or needed something. The location is wonderful, with numerous recommended restaurants and cafés just steps away, right on the lakeshore. Convenient to the lake ferries, sights, shopping. Five minutes walk, even burdened with luggage, from the Como Nord station for Trenitalia, which offers hourly one-change service to Malpensa. While this is listed as a B&B, there is no breakfast provided. Not a problem with so many places close by to find your morning starter, including a mini market where you can get a few items to keep in the fridge.

We had a very nice stay in Como and the owner Stefano was extremely gracious and accommodating. The room we had was quite large and comfortable. The decor is a bit dated but the room was clean and freshly stocked with water and espresso daily . The location was perfect ..many restaurants choices as well as easy access to the ferry ..main town and funicular to Brunate . The B&B has an elevator which is very handy .,unfortunately our room didn’t face the lake but he does offers that as well . Would definitely recommend staying there ..we throughly enjoyed Como and found it an ideal town to explore the Lake .
