Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel

From arriving in the opulent reception to the clean and tidy rooms and not forgetting the lovely dining hall , we found our stay to be mostly enjoyable. The staff are attentive and look after your every need, I enjoyed the food offerings at this hotel, I had a decent meal every day whereas in some hotels I have stayed the food choice is quite limited. The hotel is 90% complete with minor snagging issues here and there, however the garden area hasn’t been finished as of September 24. The sunbathing area is comfortable with nice sun loungers on offer, all within easy reach of the pool bar. If I have one issue it is due to the behaviour of some of the guests who thought it was ok to smoke or vape around the pool area which isn’t great for non-smokers like myself, several other guests thought it was ok to monopolise up to four sun loungers between two people sitting in a way to stop anyone sitting next to them, extremely selfish in my view. One male guest had FOUR sun loungers to himself, one where his wife sat, one for his hat, one for his sunglasses and another for himself, however don’t let this put you off, I would definitely return and recommend this hotel and will look at going back in 2025.
