Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Hotel. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterlässt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche Personal – alle Mitarbeiter waren stets hilfsbereit und nett. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Paysage magnifique certains à couper le souffle, dépaysement garantie. Très bien, température idéale, beau lever de soleil et belle couleur de l’eau, à proximité des petits commerces et a seulement 1h30 de l’aéroport ! Nous reviendrons sur cette Iles des Canaries !

Structure des années soixante magnifiquement relooke ! Deux bâtiments avec une route sans issue qui les séparent. A 2 minutes de la magnifique plage, des restaurants et des centres commerciaux. Hyper calme. Chambre appartement vaste, design épuré, matériaux de bonne qualité, literie exceptionnel, terrasse ou jardin privatif. Vue mer des le premier étage, le second offre une vue directe. Espace piscine avec de confortables matelas doubles. Salle de restauration tres ensoleillée le matin s'ouvrant sur la piscine. Buffet pdj avec des produits de qualité. Parking facile devant l hôtel. Wifi netflix ok. Personnel bienveillant et hyper compétent. Petite restauration et bar fermant a 18h. Salle de remise en forme extérieure.

Great stay at the apartments (room 607). The check-in process was a bit laborious with a printout or email of Jet2 hotel voucher needed but everything after that was great. Very friendly reception, spotlessly clean and solo female friendly. The short walk to the beach has a little local bar that serves food with fantastic views and live music. Superb atmosphere and the most welcoming and friendly staff I've encountered. The apartment is huge. The bed is comfortable and I only wish I could stay longer. (Personal choice but the wasp mural hurts my eyes. Would a lizard or a flower be less offensive? Lots of people are allergic to wasps so I didn't care for it at all. I'll paint it for you haha). Thank you for your hospitality. Lovely stay.

Stayed 7 nights and had a one bedroom apartment which was across the road from the main hotel. Apartment was lovely, modern & well equipped. The balcony was very small though with 2 uncomfortable chairs and table. Could see the sea but sunrise was blocked by another building. I prefer the beach and only used the pool area of this block for a couple of hours one day. Large sunbeds which you can’t move and they get very hot. The pool was taped off the entire time but no idea why. Apart from check in and out which was friendly & 2 visit to the sky bar which was nice I had no other contact with staff and didn’t use any other facilities. I really didn’t like Costa Calma, no heart and very bland and boring. The beach however which is down a small hill was stunning. The restaurants in the resort are just average. The best meals I had were at Dari Dari, looks like a cafe and down a side and no kern appeal but best service and nicest food I had all week. There is a Spar shop not far from the hotel, but the one a few yards further along that road is bigger, cleaner and better. Jet 2 transfers - was dropped off on corner of the road just 40 steps from hotel. For the return the text stated on the corner of the access road which I and others took as the same place. It wasn’t. It’s up the hill up on the main road. Surprised this accomodation is only 3 star, it should be 4.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Higos Beach apartments to anyone. We are currently halfway through a 7 night stay and have already booked for next year, with R2 directly. All apartments are great, but if you can, get one with an ocean view… Staff are welcoming and super efficient. Breakfast is of a very good standard, with great choice. Swimming pool is heated more than enough to take the chill off, whilst still a refreshing way to cool down should you need to. As with all areas, it’s very well kept. Gym is spacious and consists of 2 exercise bikes, 2 cross trainer and 2 treadmills, alongside a weigh machine and free weights. Roof top bar is a must! Views are fab and it’s lovely and peaceful. Food & drink at both pool bar & roof top bar is good and very reasonably priced. Surrounding area is fairly quiet, with a selection of restaurants. Would recommend Terraza del gato, which is just a few minutes walk away. Should you wish to eat in, the apartments are all equipped with all the utensils you may need, along with a small combination oven/microwave and a 2 ringed hob. Looking forward to our return journey already 😊 Thank you for a great holiday.

Firstly, this place is FANTASTIC! We stayed for two weeks. Did not see any insects (ants, mosquitoes etc). The main pool is 1.3 meters deep everywhere. The apartments are very modern and clean. The pool area is the cleanest I have have ever seen. The sunbeds are not allowed to be moved and you are not allowed to eat food on them. The umbrellas are unbelievably heavy and could cause injury if not moved carefully. The regular SOS Lifeguard will move them for you and he is the best Lifeguard I have come across. The Management should be very proud of him.However, when he had a day off his replacements are very poor. One refuses to help any one, including the female bar staff. The other one (a lady) sat by the gym and looked at her mobile phone all day. The pool is warm enough. A large beer is 4.5 euros. The bar snacks/meals are very reasonable. However, we had to send a Lasagne back to the kitchen as it was cold inside. When it returned it was too hot and when it had cooled my partner's meal had gone cool. There many English channels between numbers 854 and 862 including BBC 1,2 &4 and ITV and Channel 5. The paperwork in the apartment is not correct regarding available channels. We traveled with JET2. The driver dropped us off approx half a mile from the apartments because he could not be bothered to take us all the way. At the airport the Jet2 rep tells everyone the pick up point is where you get dropped off. The pick up point was actually at the apartments which caused us a lot of stress and confusion and we could have missed our connection. I would recommend this for adults wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Without doubt their staff are their greatest asset. I suspect they have a comprehensive staff training programme, and it clearly works! Every member of staff we encountered were pleasant and incredibly helpful. Our apartment was huge, as was the terrace. We had sufficient equipment to be self sufficient regarding cooking when necessary. Both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. We had two sun loungers, a table and two chairs on our terrace. The apartment was thoroughly cleaned every two days, with beds changed every 4 days. If I had offer any suggestions for improvement, I would have appreciated more seating in the areas around the pool as not everyone finds sun loungers comfortable for long periods.

The accommodation itself was outstanding - strongly recommend the relatively modest upgrade to get the unit with private pool. The breakfast was generally excellent as well. But there are some management issues keeping this place in the 4 zone rather than a true five. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were excellent but there was a bit of indifference from the front desk (particularly around being responsive about certain requests) and especially the closure of the restaurant and bars after 6pm. There are limited amenities in the immediate area, and no bars as such, which limits the sociability of the holiday experience. Additionally, policies like banning food in the pool loungers and not heating the "heated" pool were disappointing as well. The accommodations themselves are reason enough to stay here. But to get to the next level, the hotel needs to sort these management issues.
