Travelodge London South Croydon Hotel

Great stay, I stayed here for three weeks for business purposes and found the staff very pleasant and helpful staff throughout , nothing too much trouble. Parking included for the stay and a Toby Carvery restaurant in the same building, very handy. Comfortable rooms and everything you need within a short walk.

We've stayed here a few times. Clean, comfy perfect for our overnight stay. One thing I would ask is a plastic glass for the bathroom sink rather than use our coffee mugs. But that's a minor point. Our receptionist (sorry I didn't get her name) is amazing, such a lovely warm welcome. We've stayed at high class places where we had no welcome. All in all, another nice stay here .

The cleaning staff, night staff, the young black and white girl at reception during day are very polite. Overall the quality and service of the hotel is very poor and the rest of the reception staff were not helpful. We paid a lot of money to stay for a few weeks and had to constantly ask for the room to be cleaned because their policy is every 7days. They would rather you sleep in your own sweat, dirty sheets and repeatedly use a dirty bathroom. When there's more hotels at a cheaper rate, with better attention to cleaning and more importantly, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. So disappointed as location wise it's convenient. Staying longer than a few days, not recommended

Clean tidy and quiet with outstanding customer service, room temperature was adjustable to your needs, hot water running.. perfect stay, strongly recommended

All that you need for a good night. All staff extremely helpful and friendly, hotel clean and comfortable. Great links to central London I stayed for work so it was easy to commute for me. Overall good and peaceful nights sleep will be using this Travelodge more often.

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night. We tried to check in at 2:30 which is half an hour before the official check-in time. When we got to the desk Edwin, the guy on duty asked how he could help. When we said we'd like to check in he just turned around and looked at the oversized clock behind him then turn to us and advise that we were early. We acknowledge this but said that we're still like to check in if the rooms are available he said he'd try and find out for us. During our interaction he mentioned a few further times that we were early, a fact that we had already acknowledged with him. However about 10 minutes later he confirmed that the rooms had been prepared and we could check in. So it wasn't a big deal for either of us really. The room was clean tidy and as you would expect to see any Travelodge room. We stayed in room 226 which was ok. The bathroom could do with some attention as the shower fittings were rather lime scaled and the toilet bowl needs to be properly cleaned with bleach. As of all Travelodge rooms, the soundproofing is an issue and you can hear quite a lot of noise from a joining rooms. part of that issue is that other guests should be more considerate, but you can't expect everyone to have the same morals as yourself 😉
