Dantie Hotel

Standard hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Easy to get around as there is a bus hub in front and about 500 meters walk to the river. The hotel is quite old, traditional and clean as it could be. The best part for me is its location. It’s the tall building on the left, once you get out of the railway station. It was raining on the day I arrived, and I was not equipped with rain gear, but could still got away with a few hundred meters running. My room was on 13th floor, facing the river side. On a sunny day, the North Korea side is visible

Reasonable hotel with huge room and rest well after a tedious day but more can be done to Improve. Keep up!!

This is the hotel where located just beside the Dandong railway station.It’s the hotel of Dandong railway station.In front of the hotel there is an iconic statue of China’s former leader.My first impression was one of awe - the elegance and sophistication were palpable from the very moment I walked in. The check-in staff were courteous and efficient, greeting me with warm smiles and promptly assisting me with my luggage. The hallways were immaculately clean, and the plush carpeting provided a pleasant sensation beneath my feet. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of the “North Korea “ in the distance just 850m away from the balcony. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and carefully-selected furnishings that complemented the overall aesthetic of the hotel. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring elegant fixtures and plush towels. But not up to 5 star standards. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to impress with their impeccable service and attentiveness to my needs. Every question I had was met with a prompt and informative response, and the concierge was particularly helpful in recommending local attractions and dining options. Overall, the “Dantie hotel”is combination of stunning views, good accommodations, and exceptional service ensured that my stay was both comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a sophisticated and refined experience in a beautiful Dandong city in China-North Korea border.

Location 👍same block with railway station, reception 👍courteous, friendly and professional, housekeeping 👍room, sheets and toilet kept clean, amenities 👍sufficient and towels were clean. Free cruise ticket👎, hotel need to advise guests that nothing is totally free, you need to pay for an typical Chinese shopping tour (480rmb) to enjoy all that were listed on the ticket else you will get a boat ride to the end of a broken bridge and back (5minutes ride) but had to spend whole day waiting to return to Dandong. If you are short on time “don’t join”.
