Great friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately they are operating a building not fit for purpose. We stayed here for a wedding weekend early summer with temperature lows/highs of 14/24 degrees. Our room temperature remained at 26.5 degrees the entire night, despite open window (or at least as for as it opens with the child protection, which clearly previous guests had already tried to remove) and full blast desk fan. Staff spoken to on the night and the next morning confirmed that there is a known ventilation problem in the building which Premier inn will not fix due to cost issues. Premier inn did not honor their good night guarantee as they claim air-conditioning is not advertised. Apparently Premier Inn believes it reasonable for guests to expect room temperatures far exceeding the daily highs throughout the night. If you enjoy a Sauna, this is the place for you, if not try the Travelodge just down the road.
