We’d not normally choose a stay like this (and I don’t mean that derogatory!). We arrived tired on our first night, and were met with such a welcome. The evening meal cooked fresh, the starter, main and dessert first class. We “Dartmoored” the next day, and returned for second evening meal, and drinks in the snug. The next time we book, we’ll choose a Friday for the Pizza and sing songs 😊. Love Dartmoor, love The Cherrybrook, loved our break. Amber the dog did too 👍.

Thank you to Chris and Sue for a lovely stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Everything was first class and your very cute dogs made breakfast a real treat! We hope to return some day and experience a little more of Dartmoor.

We travelled in February to visit Wistman's Wood and stayed at Cherrybrook for one night. Right from our arrival, we were made welcome and felt at home. A table was arranged for us at a local pub so we could get something to eat. We were given directions on the best route to take to get to the wood and after a wet walk in the morning and getting the photographs that we set out to take we had a very nice breakfast and a long chat with our hosts before setting off for home.

Very nice location in the heart of dartmoor national park. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Enjoyed very much to stay there. Excellent breakfast, nice bar area and nice garden. Well positioned to start hikes into beautiful dartmoor national park.

We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the hosts were friendly and provided some useful tips on places to go. The breakfasts were generous and high quality. The rooms were a good size, presented very well and spotlessly clean. There is a great walk starting on the property to some tors and an ancient forest.

This is a b&b like no other! The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The food, cleanliness, comfort and facilities were all excellent. Lots of thoughtful extra touches too. Isolated on the moor, it’s perfect for hiking or anyone wanting some peace (and at night total silence) amongst nature at it’s best. They have a quaint old bar and lovely gardens for anyone not wishing to venture on the moor. We’ll definitely return.
