L’hôtel est certes vieillot mais la propreté et le confort sont absolus. La chambre est très bien agencée et spacieuse. Le personnel est adorable (dans tous les secteurs). L’ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale, grâce au personnel justement qui vous offre un service personnalisé (merci Timo du restaurant et la femme de chambre qui s’occupait de nous). La cuisine est délicieuse et bravo au chef qui a des idées très originales et réussies! C’est devenu rare d’avoir une telle qualité dans un hôtel. Le séjour était parfait, merci à tous!!!

As always (and most probably the last time) a great experience in the 'Steigenberger' Belvedere in Davos, the place to stay. The staff partially changed but some familiar faces still recognises yourself. Let's see, what the change will bring. Thanks anyway for so many unforgettable moments at the Steigenberger.

We have stayed at the Steigenberger Belvedere in Davos about 5 times now and absolutely love this beautiful hotel’s history and grandeur. It’s one of our favourite places to stay in the world with lovely classy rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains. A fabulous spa and great breakfast. The hotel shuttle is a great service with great friendly drivers. We arrived for a long ski weekend as s big party. We want to thank the staff for their kindness and especially to Josephine who helped make arrangements for us. Benny at the bar, Hugo and Jao the drivers. Sadly as the hotel is in transition from Steigenberger to HG, it begins to feel a little less special and disorganised in comparison to previous years. Not all but some of the staff were a little unprofessional and some in our group thought one or two were a little rude. I hate to say this but we all felt that Jacqueline on front desk was rather abrupt and unfriendly with us and didn’t present the hotel in the best way. Overall a great experience but it’s evident the hotel is in a state of transition at the moment. We may think twice about returning next year.

We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and loved it so much that we are coming back again this year! Tuesday 18th Feb 2025 - Arrived late afternoon. Picked up from Davos Platz station by a friendly and helpful driver. Nice to have a welcome fruit bowl and a few chocolates waiting in the room. Great start! Dinner at Romeo Juliet: Very good service despite we didn’t have a booking and it was busy when we visited! The gentleman who found us the table and served us was cheerful and courteous and we often see him at breakfast time too. The rest of the week we had dinner every night at the Belvedere (love the live music). The food was nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast, if I’m honest, is not sumptuous by 5 star standard (in terms of variety of hot food/pastries) but the salmon in hot food section was very nice. To summarise, the Belvedere ambience and service were very nice for both breakfast and dinner! We spent a lot of time listening to live piano playing at the bar too! Pietro the pianist was one of most entertaining pianist we ever met. Big thank you to him :) The ladies at the reception were very helpful. They introduced us to some activities (Schzalp) for non skiers (the concierge was off on that day) and also helped us book the horse carriage ride. We got picked up from the hotel entrance for the horse carriage ride which was very enjoyable! Also we appreciate the help from Robin in reception who was always professional, polite and helpful. House keeping service: both morning and evening turndown service were good. The housekeeping staffs were friendly and can communicate in English. Everyone in the ‘transport’ team were helpful, courteous and friendly. Hello to ‘Santa Claus’ who we met from our last Christmas visit years ago! All the staff in the restaurants, the bar (especially Vasileios and the Spanish lady from Mallorca) were friendly and provided great customer service. The team who communicated with us by email prior our arrival accommodated our room request and we were very pleased. We had a wonderful time in Belvedere and would definitely stay there again for the 3rd time!

Cherry Tours created a beautiful kosher program taking over the complete hotel in July and August. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly maintained. The room we had was spacious and well-appointed. Beautiful view from our balcony. Turndown service. Comfortable robes. The food was delicious and plentiful. I can not say enough about how enjoyable was our stay.

We are just on our way home from another fantastic stay at Steigenberger Davos. It is our third stay at this wonderful hotel and we just want to say a big thank you to the wonderful staff that looked after us so well. Special thanks to Lisa, Carlos, George, Celine, Benny and all other lovely staff there. We will miss you guys and look forward to seeing you again next year we hope. The hotel exudes class and its history, quality, style and management are really special.

Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvedere has been our favorite hotel in Davos for years and they did not dissappoint us this time either! Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, good restaurants, friendly service and great shutte services to all the ski lifts in Davos both ways. This service is valuable as most hotels are too far from the lifts to walk and you need to use the buses. Steigenberger cars are always available with friendly and helpful drivers

Iconic place with an excellent service and a general manager that is on top of every detail. Great food and menu, nice spa and friendly staff serving you the extra mile.the view from the balcony is amazing. The furniture in the rooms require some update.

I had booked two rooms for two nights ea. and one of my travel companions fell incredibly sick on the first night, so we checked out after only one night. Not only did the hotel charge us for both nights, but also for three nights of parking!!! I never heard back after my outreach to them, asking for an explanation. It felt like a rip-off.

We stayed here a year ago and so we knew what to expect. In that sense, we knew how to avoid the pain points from our previous visit ensuring a better experience. The Belvedere Suite is excellent and along with the connecting room is a like an apartment with great terrace views. Food all around is excellent, meaning the buffet breakfast and the dinners in the main dining room. Gym remains the pain point, although it's somewhat cleverly designed once you try using the equipment that is there but not even a foam roller was there; i took a week pass at the Davos Fitness Center which is 2 bus stops away in town and then a 30 second walk. It's a great gym with beautiful views of the ski slopes and you get an entry card which works from 6am to 10pm. The hotel is conveniently located to everything. This time the jacuzzi was working and the spa area facilities in the hotel are perfectly good. If they are going to do renovations, upgrading the spa to a more luxurious condition would be a great idea. The massage service in the hotel was excellent. Hotel's strong point is service; they all got to work finding me a ski instructor on a saturday night for a last minute session on a sunday morning after the main ski schools had closed. We understand the hotel is closing soon to change operators. I hope this place doesn't turn into a Marriott. It's a real gem of a property which even our trendy kids enjoy, and we hope to return. The purportedly fancier hotel in the area, the Alpen Gold (Intercontinental) is so removed from town that in two visits to Davos I haven't even gone to see it. This is the place to be in Davos.

Really a fantastic one week at the hotel. We all enjoyed our stay. The room are large enough and there is plenty of space in the hotel. This is combined by a great breakfast, bar and restaurant. The cleaning was top notch and services with the car was amazing. You also have shuttles to bring you to the ski installation. Also the last day it was snowing a lot and the team on the parking clean all the cars, what a nice gesture. The pool is also great, so in a nutshell, a perfect stay in a perfect hotel with perfect staff.

A beautiful hotel we’ve now visited in July for the 2nd time, with a relaxed feel, obliging staff, good food, and very clean. We stayed for a week in a superior double room with comfortable bed and restful pillows. The double basin bathroom, drenching shower, bath & closed toilet were ideal. Our beds were turned down each night with a chocolate gift on the pillows. The bedroom team were laden with fresh supplies should we need them. Coffee/tea making facilities and a large balcony with lovely view of the town and down the valley , with sun on it all morning were an added bonus. Breakfast was all types of selection and plenty of it. Dinner had a set 3 course menu for the week, but if you didn’t want that we had the allowance of 65 CHF each per evening to spend on the main menu. We could eat inside or outside. There is a large comfortable lounge bar and all waiting staff are polite, professional and pleasant. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful, being quite busy at times. There is a large swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym also sauna . Tea fruit and clean towels available, wash down shower and changing cubicles. Bathrobes supplied in the bedrooms. The hotel provided a discount card on all lifts, local trains and free buses around town. We felt relaxed and refreshed after our week walking miles each day in the mountain air, seeing wild flowers and clanging cows, old chalets and punctual trains. Fully recommend! 10 out of 10!

The service and personnel at this hotel was outstanding from room cleaning, to the breakfast and to any request one may have. The staff were hardworking, enthusiastic and aimed to please the guests. It was truly a memorable experience because of the "personal service".
