Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price The hotel feels very outdated. The room I stayed in had plain, poorly painted walls and overall looked quite old. The bed was especially uncomfortable—it was actually two single beds pushed together, and they kept shifting apart during the night. The third floor, where my room was located, had a strong and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was also in need of serious renovation; everything felt worn and far from modern standards. Given the condition of the facilities, the high price is definitely not justified. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

The hotel is old!!! that is why some of the facilities are not well organized. except that the stay was good, and remember that you need to pay VAT.

We visited this terrible hotel , they give us a room looks like a prison , not as it looks like in the picture , we told them that we requstes a room with balcony and we paid for that not a room in prison , they said give us 5 minutes we will try to give another room we wated two hours after that they told us we have another room without balcony, we agreed but requested the extra money that we paid for balcony back they said you won’t get your money back! Then after that we left the hotel we bouth a tent and stayed for 1 night and we left the next day! A terrible hotel, not recommended at all

Все ужасно. Из номера пропал мой зимний ботинок, попросил воды дать, чтобы таблетки запивать- пообещали и обманули. В номере ничего нет- даже тапки положить не захотели

The hotel is a little away from any other places, and thatvwas a good thing for us. The dead sea is 5 minutes walk, and the hotel itself has everything you need. Massive shout out to Daniel on reception, a reqlly lovely guy who speaks great English, and loves Pink Floyd! All the staff were friendly and greet, we are checking out having had a wonderful chilled couple of days. Would definitely come back. And as for the dead sea itself, it's something you won't experience anywhere else in the world. The whole atmosphere in the air is different. Special place.

Leonardo plaza-big disappointment The hotel is very old and need immediate restoration.the service is poor and not friendly. Very noisy and crowded. No value for money. We ordered the suite but it looks like a simple room.at the evening before living they put a warning on the doors that if we don’t live on time they will give us 500 shekels fine . We will not return

We stayed at the Leonardo Plaza Dead Sea for the first days of Passover. As we arrived we met with Daniel at the reception. There could not have been a better first impression. He welcomed us with a great smile and a lot of professionalism, made sure we got everything we needed and pointed us to whatever we may look for. When we went to the restaurant for dinner, we realized that we needed to book the table. However Amir took care of us and booked us (one of the best located) table for the next dinner. The hotel manager also looked after us. The rooms are a bit "old" and may need some soft renovation but they are spacious, but the beds were very comfy. The facilities includes very nice swimming pools for every age. An overall great experience that I warmly recommend

The food was very good and plentiful in the dining room, the spa is fun when it's open, and most of the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Near the Dead Sea, which is wonderful. There are shuttles to the separate beach every 20 minutes from morning till 4 pm.

The hotel is in dire need of a massive renovation. It is in a terrible state. I do not recommend staying there. The hotel staff were not particularly nice except in the dining room where the waiters were decent. The cleaning staff were also pleasant.

Not a five star hotel rather two star. Made a reservation for two nights over the phone to be sure we are getting full and correct information. We brought our 16 moth granddaughter. Asked if the indoor pool is suitable for toddlers and pregnant woman. Was assured it was . It wasn’t . We ordered a crib was not there when we arrived. Had two request three times and it only arrived after her bedtime. Onward the bathtubs had no stopper so couldn’t take a bath. Received only on the evening of the second day. The toilet is separate from the bathroom but with no sink. The mini refrigerator in the room with the bed is noisy. We had half pension breakfast good but only coffee from an automatic machine no Macchiato. The dinner all the food was very greasy and same spices . Only thing unspoiled was the Deas Sea.

We were with our entire family at the hotel, we really enjoyed everything, especially from the exceptional service from *Yehudit* from the grand food court where the meals were served, the food was absolutely Amazing, we’ve travelled thought out the world, and because of *YEHUDIT* she really made our stay the best EVER! R

The hotel was great for kids. Plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast and lots of activities for them to do. The room service cleaned the room very well and the staff were very friendly. They enjoyed the kids club with Betel, it kept them busy for hours! Would definitely recommend for families

It possible that most guests in this hotel dont notice or dont about the faults and therefore dont complain..so management doesn't realise how downtrodden this potentially once grand hotel is. This price is for what you get outrageous. But still its full!!! My pictures show the damage everywhere and the poor maintenance. It really felt like noone cared. Not the staff, not the management and certainly not the hundreds of guests. But for us this was not a positive hospitality experience. At the very least we'd expect a clean room - it honestly felt like the 5th floor suite we had, had not been used in years and had been opened for us due to this being peak season with full occupancy. As can be seen from my pictures, there's dirty walls, loose door handles, faulty plug sockets, dirty balcony furniture, filthy pool bar tables at 9am +++ Its really hard to find anything good to say about this hotel. Why don't management see fit to oversee room cleaning? Or just to walk the corridors to actually see the threadbare carpets with crumbs and shoes strewn around. Its really disappointing to write this but I think its important for future guests to know.

We booked 3 nights at this hotel for my husband's birthday.we came here to relax from work and kids.And it was a total disappointment. Impossible to rest music was so loud at the pool,full of people not enough long chairs and umbrellas.even at night we heard people talking all night outside Rooms was very old need renovations ,actually the whole hotel need it. Food is ok ,its more quantity than quality. And the cherry on the cake , when all family left we finally found quietness but not for long because at 12:00 thae day of check out they told us to leave the pool because a group of religious people are arrived. I was in shock. So we went to the hotel next door Herods and finally found what i wanted from the beginning. Thanks to alex at herods place who gave me hope that in israel a good service exist. I don t recommend leonardo plaza but i recommand herods ( sane group fattal).
