You have a private driveway and parking area. 2 cars max. A smaller car can park directly underneath the treehouse. Don't block the main private road, because continuing on the private road, you will pass two walking trails - Rippling Brook Walking Trail on left and Lost and Found Walking Trail on right. You will then see Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse on your left (also available - sleeps 6), and Happy Glamper RV (also available - sleeps 2) and the homeowner's cabin is located at the end of the private road at the top of the mountain. Beside the parking area, there are stairs leading up to the Treehouse entrance from parking. When you enter the Treehouse, you will know your peaceful retreat has begun as you are surrounded by that familiar knotty pine wood on each wall. From every window on each of the two stories, you will see refreshing views through a canopy of trees. The primary bedroom on the main floor boasts beautiful window views and a thermostat-controlled electric fireplace, and there is a small Roku TV in the corner. There are 2 chairs in the room that may be added to the dining space when there are 6 guests. For the queen bed, there is a 12" memory foam mattress and new, quilted bedding for your rest and relaxation. An extra blanket, vacuum, portable high chair (if needed), and box fan can be found in the closet. A bathroom is directly across the hall from the main bedroom with a full tub/shower combo and a double-sink vanity. There is a large frosted window to provide privacy but allow lots of daylight during the day. There is a stackable washer/dryer and ironing board with an iron available in the bathroom for your convenience. Moving into the main living area, you will appreciate the sight of a leather sofa and loveseat, as well as another chair and ottoman. Renew, refresh, and be restored! **THE RETREAT PROPERTY** When you turn into the private graveled driveway, you will see The Bear Necessities Cabin to the left near the brow, along with your own private parking area (2 cars max). Two small vehicles or 2 motorcycles fit nicely in the carport or one larger SUV/truck. There is a graveled walkway to the cabin's entrance from the parking area, and you will pass the homeowner's small workshop. There are only 2 steps leading on to the front porch of the one-level cabin, and to the back of the cabin, there is a no-stairs option with a walking ramp leading to the back porch and covered hot tub deck. Stepping inside the front door, you will know your peaceful retreat has begun as you are surrounded by that familiar knotty pine. The living area has a sofa with reclining ends, and there is a separate recliner as well, offering very comfortable lounge seating for up to 4 Guests. There is a corner gas-log fireplace to enjoy on cool mornings when you're in the living room, and there is 32" Roku TV and very fast Wi-Fi for streaming your own channel subscriptions. The lamps have USB and Type-C charging ports. There is a dining table that can be moved to the center of the room and 4 saddleback stools. In the kitchen, you will appreciate the thoughtfulness of the homeowners, as there are granite countertops, stainless appliances and more than "bear necessities" for your getaway :) There is a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric water kettle, toaster, blender, cooking pots, can opener, pans and utensils, dishes, drinking glasses, wine glasses, eating utensils, cooking spices, coffee mugs, and more! Moving through the cabin, there is a sliding pocket door that leads to a bonus room, consisting of an adorable Reading Nook and Loft Bunk Bed. The Reading Nook offers a comfortable area to read your favorite book, and a ladder leads to the loft bunk bed. With twin mattresses, these spaces provide extra sleeping space for the third and fourth guests. This bonus room has a door leading into the full bathroom. Through the bonus room, there is another door that leads to the primary bedroom. There are comforts such as a queen bed with a Sweetnight 12 in. Stepping inside the front door, you will love all that this peaceful retreat offers guests. With only 200 square feet of indoor living space, Tiny Cub House packs a punch with all of its amenities! To the right, there is a queen bed with a memory foam mattress and comfortable bedding (extra blankets are in the upper cabinet). There is a small electric fireplace to enjoy on cool mornings when you're inside, and there is 43" Roku TV and very fast Wi-Fi for streaming your own channel subscriptions. A desk at the foot of the bed can be used as a remote workspace, and the lamp has a USB charging port. Tiny Cub House has a remote-controlled mini split HVAC system for heating and cooling, small ceiling fan, bathroom ventilation fan, and a dehumidifier in the loft area, so it definitely makes for a very comfortable space and is loved by our Guests. There is a small fold-down dining table that can be lowered from the wall, and then with the press of two buttons, the hinges will allow it to fold up and give you more floor space.
