I had the opportunity to stay at Grand Palace Hitel & Resorts in Dhaka for a couple nights. From the beginning to the end, I had a delightful stay. The reception lady, Kinaka, was very polite, eloquent, and professional in handling check-in/check-out, and all things guests related. Much better compared to other experiences in Canada and the US. Whilst waiting for reception to finish the check-in process, the bellman, Riaz, was very polite and promptly provided me with a beverage which was a pleasant surprise that I did not expect. He also went through everything in the hotel room and made sure I was aware of all the amenities the hotel provided. I had breakfast by myself and the waiter, Nahid, made my morning more brighter than it already was. He made sure I was comfortable and that the food was satisfactory. He spent time out of his day to converse with me which I appreciated a lot. Attached is a photo of him and I. And I genuinely appreciate the time and thought that Nahid went through for a guest like myself. Overall, from beginning to end, this hotel provided the best customer service that I have ever received and I travel and stay at many hotels quite often. And the rooms were clean, spacious, and pleasant to stay in.
