Blue World Dharavandhoo

Spent a week diving with these guys and they were great. The dive guides were excellent and the crew were very friendly and helpful. We were grouped with divers of similar ability and air consumption so the whole experience was good. They went out of their way to find mantas and whale sharks which is what we all wanted to see. The boat is big with plenty of room for divers and equipment. I would definitely recommend these guys for a great diving experience. Special thanks to Faisal and Bags who were our guides.

Beautiful room! Very comfortable, clean and decorated in a modern style. Lot's of space, nice wooden ceiling and decor, big shower/bathroom which is partly outdoors but with roof and walls. Tasty breakfast is provided in another building next door. Lot's of outdoor lounge spaces and free bikes to ride around the island. Very friendly staff!

The staff are very helpful and i love the rooms and also the surrounding of hotel. I love the welcome coconuts juice. The sand on the outside floor is so nice to walk on. The food is ok. The water is clean . I love the coffee area

Before diving I walked by the diving school to get some information because I wasn’t sure yet if I was going to join or not. Faisal was there, he informed us about the marine life, corals, but also schedule. After the first dive the boat would go back to Dharavandhoo, so I would be back at the hotel at 10:30-11:00. It sounded great, so I decided to join. The boat was nice, the crew super friendly, great vibes. I got a quick introduction about the boat and staff because I was new, which I really appreciated. The crew assembled the equipment. I was watching how the captain screwed in an old din valve insert. When I checked the equipment myself, it was leaking air. When I commented about the leaking, the crew replaced the din valve insert for a new one that worked well. But, once diving, there was a problem with my regulator. It was leaking salty ocean water into my mouth almost constantly. Which not only was extremely annoying, it left me very thirsty, and I used up a lot of oxygen because of constantly having to spit out sea water.. it really ruined a gorgeous dive. Not only was the dive ruined after these problems, the boat that was promised the day before by Faisal to go back to Dharavandhoo after the first dive, didn’t. When I asked a crew member, they told me they where continuing to the next dive site.. So very unexpectedly I was stuck on a boat I didn’t want to be on for 3 hours!! The weather was terrible (windy, rainy, cold) and my husband was worrying where I was back in the hotel (I don’t have a Maldivian sim card to let him know why I was so delayed). To top it off, when at the end I gave some feedback to Faisal, he said it was my own fault and that I should have indicated that I wanted to return to Dharavandhoo. What the hell? My husband was there when he informed me, and Faisal clearly stated that the boat would return after the first dive. If he on the other hand would have informed that the boat normally continues to the second dive site (which is normal) I probably wouldn’t have even joined the first dive. Or at least after the first dive he could have asked me what my preference would be, to go back or not. In summary, bad equipment and terrible communication from staff (Faisal) ruined my experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone diving with Blue World! I am rating with 2 stars because of the other sweet crew members that tried to better my experience. Otherwise I would rated with 1 star.

Since the day arrived to Dharavandhoo blue world i see the clean and beautiful arrangement. This beautiful and creative and design are very friendly, Maldives island environment. We had Snorkeling one trip, its surprised we saw whale shark the famous spot hanifaru bay. Mantas. Its just 8 min far from Dharavandhoo. They have perfect arrangements for all activities. Fully quipped dive center can provide lot of services with perfect instructor Appi. Hospitality was really good and the staff is polite and friendly. Special call out to Appi for looking after us and making sure everything's going well. .. (HIGHLY APPRECIATED) . thanks to Appi , and the entire staff for giving a great experience . Cheers

Blueworld provides an amazing service from start to finish. From my very first interaction with the team to the end of my trip the service was seamless. They organised all of my transfers at a very reasonable price and saved me the stress of having to organise anything. On arrival I was picked up from the airport and taken to the accommodation which is super clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and can’t do enough for you.
