Firstly the food - food in Dili can be hit and miss. The hotel has a varied menu catering to all tastes and what I consider the best rendang I’ve ever tasted. The lasagne is also outrageously tasty. So I give the food a 10 out of 10 . Added bonus breakfast is included in the room rate ! The staff - are simply lovely - always smiling and eager to please. Nothing was ever an issue like some extra towels or a late check out - this is fantastic as I had a later afternoon flight. So I was very kindly offered a late check out which I really appreciated. Location wise - overlooking the lapping tropical waters - a short walk to a supermarket and even a local famous Timor coffee place ; coffee in the hotel is excellent ; they’ve Got a “real” machine . Timorese coffee overall is brilliant. Certain times of the year can be a tad windy for a few Hours …but still lovely and warm. Also bring some mosquito repellent as it is the tropics, there are some mozzies outside of the hotel when you venture out for a walk. The beds are great and the shower water pressure is without a doubt the best shower water pressure of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Other hotels in Dili are not like this. Book early , and let the hotel know your arrival flight - they’ll arrange a meet and greet and seamless transfer all for the bargain price of $10. Makes it so much Easier than feeling ‘lost’ on arrival. Finally , be sure to go on a one or two day tours - it’s fascinating to hear the history first hand from the Timorese Tour guides . I used indigenous tours - booked via the hotel - Was a great way to orientate with the city and its people. A truly fascinating history at times confronting but very interesting. Can’t wait to go back .

Nicely situated just opposite the beach. A 20-30 min walk to the lighthouse. A 30-40 min walk to the Timor Plaza shopping centre. My room was nice, first floor. Good AC. Hot shower. Had some wifi signal but quicker to use my local SIM card which had unlimited data. Didn’t use the pool. A big plus of staying here is the restaurant. Open from morning till I believe 10pm. Good selection of quality and safe food. And fresh juices. And fresh coconuts!

This is a really good hotel in Dili. 5 Star it’s not but it was all the comforts including a pool restaurant rooms with comfortable bed and bathroom. Included bathroom amenities including a descent bar of soap ( not tiny soap bar or none at all). The rooms are fully air conditioned and it works well. Bathroom simple with toilet shower and hand basin and clean towels. Also you have a huge 15L water bottle ( you would never get that in a 5 Star.) Breakfast is included with hot and cold breakfast and eggs cooked to order. The manager who is Australian was very helpful in arranging tours etc. Before you go contact the hotel by email and arrange a $10US pick up at the airport. It is efficient and although it took a while through immigration they waited for us. Meals are reasonable priced and I had a delicious fish cooked in banana leaves dinner for $12.50. The hotel is across the road from the beach. Although there is a busy road you cannot hear the noise from your room. I recommend this hotel as a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Lovely view of the sea from the terraced restaurant, but very noisy due to the lively traffic. The restaurant serves excellent food, only breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet as they are all around the pool in a lovely garden the backof the building away from the street.

The hotel esplanada was a great base for our rotary study tour We spent 3 nights at the beginning of our stay and another at the end. Great position looking over the sea The dining area was just a cool place to be. Room was clean serviced each day and Airconditioned Shower was hot and the European toilet worked. We were able to safely leave excess luggage there while we went to mountains. Able to accommodate our group of 17 with double and twin rooms.

This is one of the best places to stay in Dili. Rosa and her staff are fantastic and they make your stay that little bit extra! The hotel is very modern and well serviced. The rooms are clean and the restaurant and bar and are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel if you require a place to relax and unwind in Dili!

My stay at the hotel was very relaxing and just what I needed after a busy year at work. The ocean views from the dining area only added to the great quality of the meals and service I loved the pool area and really appreciated the fabulous poolside service of both food and beverages. Nothing like a drink with an umbrella to make you feel special. Thanks to all the staff for such a great holiday

Great service & food , menu was authentic with also modern cuisine .Great prices for accommodation & clean rooms . Great view opposite the beach & central to the main town. Prices for accommodation was reasonable , they also organised my transfers & tours for snorkeling, would definitely return
