Situé dans le village côtier de Stoupa, le Kolokotronis Hotel & Spa est un complexe composé de maisons en pierre indépendantes, séparées par des chemins étroits et entourées de jardins en fleurs. Il dispose d'une piscine extérieure, d’un bar-restaurant avec terrasse donnant sur les environs et le golfe de Messénie et d’un centre de spa doté d’un bain à remous, d’un sauna et d’équipements de remise en forme.
Dotés d’une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et d’un balcon meublé donnant sur la mer, les studios et les appartements présentent une décoration élégante avec des murs en pierre, des poutres apparentes et un mobilier de qualité. Chacun comprend un coin salon/repas décloisonné et une cuisine tout équipée. Vous apprécierez la climatisation, le coffre-fort et la télévision à écran plat. Décorées dans des tons beige, les salles de bains sont pourvues d’une baignoire. Certains logements possèdent une cheminée.

This is a fantastic hotel , i thoroughly recommend it . It is very comfortable , the self catering accommodation we stayed in was newly refurbished . Large super king bed with good pillows and bed linen . The windows all have nets and good coverings . The room was airy with air con if needed . A good fridge and freezer every thing you needed for self catering . Even washing up liquid and sponge . Good ensuite shower . I could not fault this property . Attention to detail was good . Lovely pool and bar / dining area with good views to the sea . Spotlessly clean . Nice breakfast and good restaurant if a little pricey but convenient if you didnt want to go into town .. Near to supermarket and short walk into Stoupa . Hilly location but if you like a quiet spot with trees and vegetation and good views this is the hotel for you . People seem to return to this hotel year on year which shows what a favourite this hotel is . Staff and owner family very helpful and friendly . This family run hotel is a credit to them , the attention to detail shows a great pride and enthusiasm for this business and that they are constantly striving to give a good service and make it a great holiday for their customers . I had a great holiday .

The whole of the complex was perfect friendly staff including the lovely lady cleaners, nothing was too much trouble foranyone.The beds were huge with lovely pillows and they and the towelss were replaced regularly. The breakfast was lovely and also the food on the menus. Barbecue night was really good, Thank you to Mario, Farnos and the rest of the staff for the treatment they gave us x

This is our third visit to the hotel and once again we found it a delightful and relaxing place to stay. The swimming pool is always spotless and there are plenty of shady places where you can relax. As soon as you sit down you are treated to a large glass of iced water. The beaches in Stoupa are lovely and are about a 15 minute walk away, as is the town. The restaurant at the hotel is superb and all the staff have this lovely, nothing is too much trouble attitude. There are also many good restaurants in the area. The rooms are spacious and kept beautifully clean. There is a great choice to be had from the many restaurants in the area. Maria and all her family make us feel so welcome.

Really enjoyable stay here. Rooms comfortable and cleaned regularly. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel is up a hill but is 5 mins walk from the lovely beach at Kalogaria and 10 mins from Stoupa. Great base for exploring the Mani . Would love to go back!

Just spent three weeks at this hotel, had a lovely time, stayed in a studio, loads of room and a very large bed, also had a very descent sized balcony. The facilities are excellent, we used the spa a lot and had very good massages, the pool area, bar and restaurant were also great and we made use of all of them, the staff so friendly and helpful, special mention needed for Nico, Sophia, Mario and Vanoss, who all went above and beyond with the bar and restaurant service, they really helped make the stay special.

our first time in beautiful stoupa Greece, we have nearly covered all the Greek islands and mainland and tend to go back to Lesvos. However after this month visiting this area of Greece we were smitten from the start with the countryside and white sandy beaches and the crystal clear waters. the Kolokotronis hotel and spa is a must to visit and worth every penny we paid to go there and had a fantastic relaxing time, We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my family. shower was hot with decent pressure, beds were very comfy and surrounding area was peaceful with a sea view. the staff here worked very hard a special thank you to Mario who had a lovely smile everyday and excellent service was a pleasure, nothing was ever to much trouble as with the rest of the staff. the spa we had a relaxing massage even my young son who loved it, and was very professional done and well worth the money. food on site was good also with a lot of choice. no charge for the safe and air con which really narks me and a ripped off when this is charged at some other hotels. cleaners not in your face we never saw them they just seem to creep in every day when we were out a nice touch and thoughtful. 5 mins to the first and best beach, and 10 mins to Stoupa. at the moment we may be looking to book this place again due to the excellent experience we had this year from start to finish, thank you for a great holiday.

If you want a relaxing holiday this hotel ticks all the boxes, please be aware though that this hotel is situated on a hill And although your luggage is taken upto the hotel on arrival you then have to take it from reception to your accommodation (a steep hill) We stayed for two weeks spending our time either round the pool or on the beech, the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and efficient, they have a all you can eat bbq on a Tuesday evening I believe it was 22.50 euros for adults and slightly cheaper for children, we went during our first week I can honestly say it was very tasty but slightly over priced , you pay for your drinks onto of this and for a family of for was on the expensive side. We walked into stoupa to eat in the evenings where there was plenty of restaurants to choose from. We took a taxi during our second week to the small town 10minutes away just for a change of scenery, as I said at the beginning this is a quiet resort if your looking for clubs and nightlife this isn't the place for you. As much as we loved our time at kolokotronis Stoupa we wouldn't return especially not for two weeks.

We arrived to a friendly and helpful reception, and that theme stayed with us throughout our holiday here. The room was well presented and we had a lovely sea view. Nearby, there is a supermarket with another slightly larger one 10 minutes stroll further on. The higher up bungalows do require a bit of fitness to get to due to the hill it is situated on. Stoupa seafront is approximately 15 minutes stroll. There you will find a great selection of bars and restaurants. If you don't want to eat at Kolokotronis. In the cooler weather, it is a great base to use for some walking/hiking of the local countryside and hills.

Great welcome at reception. Great team at breakfast and poolside. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A great team throughout the establishment. Immaculately clean studio with hot running water at all times, not always the case in Greece. We had a studio that was fully equipped with full hob fridge and everything else needed make self catering more of a possibility than is usually the case, not that we used any of as we ate out at the very good onsite restaurant or down in Stoupa itself. Outdoor eating area has amazing views of the surrounding countryside as well as the sea in the distance. Only watch out is as others have said, Kolokotronis is situated on a hill and unless you're good on your feet this may not be the place for you. However we would gladly return and stop here again.
