Travelodge Dover

Considering that the hotel is a place to spend the night and maybe eat, you get insane value for the money you spend. The staff has to be the nicest teams I have ever interacted with. The room was also really nice with only a minor problem with the bath room. Though nothing to actually be a reason for complaint.

For two days I had an issue with accessing my room because of a faulty door lock. The second day, the day before I was meant to leave I was locked out for over 12 hours without access to my belongings. I had a ferry at 3:30am with a 700 mile drive ahead of me. After being out for the day and having an issue with my door in the morning, I returned just before 6pm still being locked out of my room, the receptionist contacted someone from maintenance to fix my door, after waiting for a total of nearly 6 hours did someone come, at this point it was 11:50pm, I had to get to the ferry terminal at 2:30am! Because of this whole experience I didn't get any rest before my journey ahead.

I had a great experience at Travelodge Dover thanks to Allyx at reception. She checked me in quickly and with a warm, friendly attitude. It made a long day of travel so much easier. Thank you, Allyx!

The hotel is easy to find, located right near shops/takeaways. Dinner was nice, breakfast was an 8/9 out of 10. Our room ( 210 ) was very quiet & faced the car park

Room was way too small and the shower was pitiful space wise too. Try to shower and you just keep banging your arms on the walls, and I'm not a big person. Aircon had to be used, as the windows don't open, but it was squeaking so much we had to turn it off to sleep, making the small claustrophobic room even stuffier. A fan was provided and the room was generally clean. Convenient for the sea front and town. Not great value for money and we would be unlikely to stay there again.
