Can’t check when arrive early. I arrived at 11:30 and had sent messages when booking about early flight and that I would like to check in earlier and received a message saying they will do their best to accommodate me. When arrived no codes and couldn’t get into building. Finally a guest let me in and waited until 2pm for codes. Really inconvenient and annoying. Although I will say the cleaning staff and maintenance staff are very nice and try their best to help in anyway but this check in and no reception would turn be off booking again.

Nice comfy and warm room and close to bus stop! Nice village. Very friendly Portuguese guy who was working there cleaning the rooms. He was very helpful, called me a taxi and carried my suitcase out to the road to taxi. I really appreciated this. He needs a pay rise. 🍀😊

The pictures made this place look so good but beware! My partner and I booked a 4 night stay and were excited to find a reasonably priced and cute looking place even if it was far from Dublin city center. The first room we were assigned was dirty including a used bottle of mouth wash on the floor of the room. After requesting a different room, we were moved down the hall to a new room. This one was dirty: *Toenail* on the floor, Bottle of febreeze on the counter, Smelled bad Disgusting lump of tape and something?? stuck to the wall Booger on the wall Stains There were also greasy smears on the night table and window sill. Pretty much you didn't want to touch anything. We were exhausted form a hectic day of travel so decided to grin and bear it for the night and then promptly cancelled the reservation the next morning. While the hotel refunded the remainder of the stay they did nothing to make up for the awful experience and significant inconvenience of having to re-book, change plans, etc. When I called to reach the property the next morning (no in person staff at the property which we knew), I was informed the manager would not be in until 10am. I called back at 10:05 and was informed the manager was still not in. Called back at 10:30, still not in. Finally, got a call around 10:40 from the manager who agreed to cancel the reservation after I told them how dirty the room*s* had been. In fairness, the bathroom and bed seemed pretty clean (and the portrait of Jonathan Rhys Meyers from The Tudors is hilarious). Save yourself a headache and frustration and book somewhere else. Worst stay I've had in a long time.

This hotel is an expensive scam. When booking I had no idea that there was no staff in the property and that parking was limited and on a first come first serve basis. It was next to impossible to contact anyone with regard my stay at the hotel, my emails were unanswered and when I phoned I got an Indian gentleman who asked me what hotel I was ringing about. How they are allowed on *********** I have no idea. I am very disappointed and will be complaining to them about this sham of a hotel.

Terrible hotel, only tell you after you book that it's self check in, supposed to send you codes to access property but didn't so had to phone from ferry to get them! TV does not work, no channels, only one coffee cup, room safe locked so can't use and you can't complain because no one is here! Also no housekeeping provided. Could overlook some of this if it was cheap but it isn't, your paying a fortune to run the hotel for them 🤯

I made the mistake of booking this place last week. Thankfully, it was for just one night. The photos look good and the you get the impression that you are staying in a very nice house. The reality is there is a bland extension to the back of the house. Room 107 has all the charm of a prison cell. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this accommodation to anyone.

This place is an absolute scam. You can't contact anybody with a problem because there's no staff, no check in, just some dodgy indian call center that has no clue what you're talking about. The pictures look nothing like reality and the place is just nasty and dirty. Dont walk, RUN away from here

I strongly recommend that you do not book this dirty hotel. The reception is not staffed, and the hotel smells bad. There are also junkies and teenagers hanging around outside the hotel, which is very scary. The room was freezing cold and the

This hotel has a Georgian facade with nearly all 25 approx bedrooms in a purpose built block at the back. The website is misleading as the rooms are basic very small generic budget style rooms. Totally overpriced at €210 for a Saturday night in November. While the room was clean the carpet throughout was grubby, TV wasn’t working and no tea bags. Also no mention of self check in when booking.

We arrived just in time to meet the guy at reception, who was really helpful and gave us good information about the local area. There was free off road parking, both at the front and rear of the hotel. The rooms were quite small, but clean and comfortable with a coffee machine, iron and ironing board. It is less than an hour to walk into Dublin, or a short bus ride (Check how to pay on the buses before travelling, as prepaying seems to be the best option). The bars in Rathgar were friendly and welcoming.

We were shocked at how little resemblance there is between the marketing photos and the reality of this place. Upon entering we were immediately struck by how worn and tired the interior is: threadbare and stained carpet, odd and sparse furniture in the so-called community room which is the only space to be able to sit down. The corridor to our room was narrow and dark. The room itself felt like a jail cell- stained flooring, a small double bed and that’s all- no place to sit down except the bed! No table, no comfort, nothing on the walls- just a bleak sad room that felt like a hostel. We paid well over 200 euro a night and we feel royally ripped off.
