Hôtels proches de Rainforest Adventure Soft Play, East Kilbride

Thank you to the staff, as a solo traveller I was quite nervous but I felt so safe. Check in was smooth and friendly. The hotel is clean, stylish and smart. You need your room key to use the lifts so I felt so safe going to my room. I stayed in a double room and it was so spacious! Everything was tidy and well placed. Even though there was a fun fair on the next street it didn’t really bother me when I shut the window. It was my first time staying in an apart-hotel and I would definitely recommend! I didn’t know that having ice in the freezer and cutlery would make me so happy haha. I could chill my water and have a lovely meal in my room without having to fork out for a more expensive takeaway. I used the Tesco express down the street to get myself fresh food. The bathroom had a lovely heated towel Rail too so I had the warmest, fluffiest towel! Down in the lobby they have a Brita water filter, board games, extra kitchen equipment and food and drink. Will certainly return if I ever visit Glasgow again!

Parklands Hotel & Country Club est un bijou caché. Depuis le moment où nous sommes entrés dans l'hôtel, il est bien décoré, en nous donnant une vibe de mariage. La zone de mariage pour les cérémonies et la réception de soirée vous donne une vue d'ensemble de la grande journée. Il est très bien structuré et pensé, donc il fluit bien et pas de croisement avec les clients qui séjournent à l'hôtel. La zone environnante a des charges d'espace pour des photos/vidéos de mariage, comme une proximité par les forêts, une zone de prairie ouverte et le balon au sommet de l'hôtel pour ces incroyables possibilités de photos. Jennifer (gesteur d'événements) est un coordonnateur incroyable pour les mariages. Le jour où elle a fait de ma femme et je me sens si relaxé, nous avons juste aimé le jour avec les amis et la famille. Ils ont vu tous les invités et si nous avions besoin de quelque chose d'extra, ils s'en seraient sûrs. La cuisine était délicieuse, pas seulement le jour, mais nous avons visité le restaurant quelques fois avant le mariage. Nous avons visité des lieux de mariage allant de Greenock à East Kilbride et les parcs sont devenus les plus importants. C'est de leur part d'organiser, de planifier, de regarder, de grands aliments, de personnel professionnel et une expérience sans stress pour ma femme et moi. Je recommande de rentrer pour un look et une conversation, que tout cela nous a pris pour savoir qu'il était le lieu pour nous. Merci à Parklands pour avoir fait de notre jour de mariage inoubliable.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel around 8 times and absolutely loved it. Beautiful modern comfy rooms, lovely bar area and the best ever showers! We have always experienced first class service from lovely staff. This unfortunately came to an end when we checked in last month. There was one really lovely young lady at reception as we arrived but she was caught up with another guest sorting out a problem with the TV remote control. I believe this girl summoned another staff member to come out from the office to deal with us. Out she came, never said hello, no eye contact infact was cold, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I'm guessing she was not happy at being called out of the office. So, with a cold and hostile attitude, we were checked in and given keys. As we always requested a downstairs room, I noticed our room was upstairs. I asked if there were no downstairs rooms, and we had requested this. She said”yes so I see,” and said no, there aren't any . So would you not think that when checking someone in who had requested a downstairs room, you would at least acknowledge this. Unfortunately, this has put me off returning and we have been staying at a different hotel. It's such a shame when the hotel is lovely and that one ”huffy” receptionist can ruin everyone else's hard work.

L'hôtel est un concept très agréable qui a introduit des éléments qui rappellent les auberges, tels que les entrées de check-in qui sont doubles comme les bars, les vastes espaces sociaux et un lobby de concept ouvert, les espaces de travail, etc. La chambre était assez petite (la publicité était telle, il était prévu), et manquait quelques équipements tels que un réfrigérateur ou un espace de travail. Le lit était très confortable et la chambre était très propre. Vous êtes un trésor juste dans le centre-ville et vous devez marcher loin pour trouver un café ou un magasin de confort.

We stayed overnight on the way home. Twin room, as the 2 beds are a decent size. The spa has a large pool & 2 saunas & 2 stream rooms plus 2 jacuzzi’s- it was vert busy but open until 9:30pm. I ate in the area near the tv to watch Wimbledon. I had the cheese board & a french martini. I also took a Starbucks hot chocolate to my room. Peppermint tea was a nice addition to the in room drinks. I had an issue when i got back to my room, the connecting door was open, so i called reception & a lovely lady from housekeeping came up to see me & secured the door, but later on that evening, someone in the adjoining room did try to open the door, which seemed strange, as we had been told it was empty, i was asleep but it woke my daughter & she was worried.

L'hôtel est situé près de la rue royale de Glasgow, très pratique, le service est bon, vous pouvez stocker vos bagages, les clients quittant le avion de soir sont confortables, les nouvelles installations sont disponibles, il y a aussi une salle de fitness, en général, très bon.

Le centre de Glasgow est un centre de recherches de la ville de Glasgow, où il est très bien situé. Les hôtels que j'aurais attendu de payer ＞£100 étaient £150/180. Le jury était de £111. Une chaleureuse réception de la part du personnel de réception et le principal lobby est moderne et propre. La chambre que nous avons été attribuée (618) était un peu datée. Il était spacieux parce qu'il était une chambre accessible, pas à notre demande, peut-être pourquoi il était moins cher que les autres. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas dormi très bien. Les fenêtres n'ont pas fait assez pour écouter le bruit de la rue, les murs étaient en papier mince et vous pouviez entendre les voisins parler, plier et dépêcher des objets électriques - toutes les petites choses tranquilles que vous ne devriez pas vraiment pouvoir ici. Notre chambre avait un bruit de bruit qui vient du vent dans la chambre qui nous a gardés réveillés jusqu'à 7.30am... puis les voisins ont commencé à se préparer à se débarrasser. Nous n'avons jamais plaint pendant la nuit parce que nous étions si fatigués après avoir été sortis toute la nuit et le bruit était intermittent, alors juste quand vous pensais que vous étiez de retour au sommeil, il a commencé à nouveau. La chambre était propre, mais comme je l'ai dit, et pour cette raison, je ne pense pas avoir choisi de rester ici.

I really wanted to leave a great review for this hotel. We stayed for an ultimate spa break to celebrate my daughter finishing her exams and leaving school. She was really looking forward to it. Our initial impressions were good, the grounds are beautiful and the reception staff were attentive and friendly. When we reached our room we were a bit disappointed as the room wasn’t to the same standard as other McDonald hotels we have stayed in and sadly that became our constant thought throughout the whole stay. The decor is very tired and the whole place could do with an overhaul. Paper peeling from walls, we had tissue paper stuck underneath the handles on the windows to keep them closed. The relaxation room of the spa was horrible as the ceiling looked mouldy and the paper was peeling off the walls. We had dinner the first night. We had looked at the menu online however it was totally different when we went into the restaurant and the choices weren’t great. We ordered cocktails and both agreed they were the worst cocktails we had ever had, they cost £9.95 each and I didn’t drink mjne at all. Breakfast the next morning was shambolic, there was 8 of us in the restaurant and the staff were running around like headless chickens saying they were so busy and tables weren’t cleaned, we waited a ridiculous length of time to order our food and it took forever to come. We had afternoon tea booked as part of the deal, again it wasn’t great. It had obviously been made well in advance of our booking time and the break on the sandwiches were hard and the cakes cheap and uninteresting. We ate out elsewhere our second evening. We both enjoyed our spa treatments which helped rescue the weekend. Breakfast on our final morning was better as it was a buffet style although we had to wait ages to ask staff for plates as there were none available to lift up (apparently the plate warmer was broken so they weren’t leaving plates out). I think that the staff of Crutherland House are doing the best they can however something has gone wrong with the running of this hotel and it needs attention . We wouldn’t recommend it to friends and next time will go somewhere else
