Hôtels près de SmartCentres Edmonton East, Edmonton

Well, the valet & front desk staff were cordial, the room was quite small with a weird sliding window between the sink & the bed, the special big ice they encourage you to order doesn't fit in any of the glasses provided in the room...the room service was hit & miss...the workout area was absolutely AMAZING though...world class... The lobby bar is quite crafty/cold in winter...almost everyone had their coats on...the bartender was excellent! All in all not good value for your dollar...

I had an amazing stay at the Super 8. Sandy is amazing if you’re checking in with her, and the lady in the pub has fantastic service skills. I wish I had of caught her name. She’s fantastic and very attentive. My only complaint is after I left the hotel. I had accidentally left my single use contact lenses in my room. I obviously didn’t realize this until I was getting ready the next morning. I phoned the Super 8 to see if I had accidentally left them….and honestly had to really push for them to look in the lost and found. Thankfully, they found them. I had an emergency pair in my purse “just in case”, but had I have not had the emergency pair, I would have been unable to drive or even see 2 feet in front of me. When I picked them up, they clearly had my old room number and date attached to the “lost item”. I really would have appreciated a two minute phone call or text message to let me know that I had left something behind. Luckily, I was still in the area to be able to pick them up. When I expressed my disappointment to the front desk about the lack of contact, a manager (I think) was there to immediately jump on me to let me know that it was my fault for leaving something behind. I completely and fully understand that it was my mistake that I left something behind, however it would have taken a two minute call to let me know and I would have immediately turned around to pick them up. My recommendation would be to simply just let guests know if they leave something substantial behind. Many of your guests are travelling and are unable to drive back to pick things up when they realize something is missing. Small things make a big difference in the service industry. :) Regardless, I’ll be back! It’s one of my faves in Sherwood Park.

I moved here are going to another hotel which was awful so went back to reliable Marriott. Checked in about 30 minutes after booking - room was lovely and clean but everything was ready. Rooms are not big I had a city view which is basically of the car park but there was a bed, comfortable chair and desk. Housekeeping came daily. The downside to the room is the hairdryer kept flipping the breaker - I left a note to report it buck the note was ignored which also asked for conditioner in the room (those big sharable ones in the shower) which was also not refilled. We arrived in the weetesdt June on record - the hotel was cold and although I was able to warm the room up the restaurant was blowing cold air throughout the stay so you had to sit with a hoodie on. The hotel is being renovated the 2 lifts were being painted and out of commission during my stay - not an issue as we were all able to sue the service elevator but there is only one so sometimes there was a line. Also the outdoor patio dining area overlooking the river is being renovated and we were told it would not be available all summer. The hote restaurant staff were lovely and friendly - the menu is a bit eclectic - you know on a rainy nite when you just want soup and a sandwich - well not available - they dont offer this - one of the pizzas came with blue cheese so I asked to switch for regular cheese - you cannot do that as they come in ready made. The menu is Indian food centric - lots of indian flavors (such as the poutine - how I wanted to try regular poutine but again not available) there is spice and curry flavor an a host of Lentil dishes on the menu and a lot of bok choi etc but very few of what I would call traditional flavours - for example as well as a soup on a cold rainy night a fish and chips might have been nice or a pot pie. The walk into downtown is nice - the view on the river is nice however we were warned about walking in downtown Edmonton as since covid there has been some changes - there are a lot of street people - pot is smoked everywhere and for a girl travelling i was told not to walk outside alone if I could help it. There are limited dining options without walking other than the hotel restaurant - in fact most nights there were several tables of lone female travellers in the restaurant

Nous sommes restés ici après avoir été abattus depuis l'aéroport de Travelodge Edmonton la dernière minute en raison de la surréservation. Nous avons eu la chance de trouver une chambre, puisque la plupart des hôtels ont été vendus à la suite de Garth Brooks et que nous assistions à un mariage nous avons été inquiets que nous devrions en faire un retour à la suite de cela. L'hôtel était plus ancien mais exceptionnellement propre! La piscine et la salle de petit déjeuner étaient fermées en raison de rénovations mais nous n'avions pas pris soin parce que nous n'aurions pas utilisé ces équipements (nous étions sur un calendrier strict). Nous avons traité Mary Jasnoor à l'entrée et à la sortie. Elle était super mignonne et nous a aidé à oublier l'expérience terrible que nous avons eue plus tôt le jour (voir mon autre commentaire pour Travelodge Edmonton Airport) Merci d'avoir séjourné très bien!

Les chambres sont grandes. L'hôtel était parfait pour mon séjour. Les lits propres étaient confortables.

Nous avons besoin d'un hôtel ami et trouvé cet hôtel. Je suis si heureux de trouver cet endroit. Je suis un grand supporter du groupe Choice Hotel. Le prix était dans notre budget. Nous avons reçu une chambre de terrain qui était parfaite! La chambre était belle et propre et notre chien l'aimait là. Nous avons pu parker juste devant les portes de patio à notre chambre. Le personnel de la table de front était très aimable et très utile. À côté de l'hôtel est un grand restaurant ...Taste de Persia. Ils ont un grand menu de petit déjeuner. Nous y demeurerons, chaque fois que nous sommes à Edmonton!
