Nous avons passé trois nuits aux petits soins chez nos hôtes Henriette et Dave, aidés par Priscilla et Gerhardt. Tout, de l’accueil jusqu’aux repas et bien entendu les game drives est parfait ! La chambre donnant sur la rivière (4) est magnifique et spacieuse. On mange vraiment très bien dans ce lodge, presque trop et les vins sont excellents et peu chers. Merci aux chefs Sparks, Warren et Daniel pour nous avoir fait prendre deux kilos ;-) Les sorties safari sont variées et toujours fructueuses : nous sommes dans une réserve big five. Et de fait nous avons vu 4 des big five en une journée. Merci à notre ranger Zaan ! Une magnifique adresse dans le parc de Welgevonden !

Magnifique endroit ! Ce lodge a tout pour vous plaire : Calme Personnel au top ! Une cuisine raffinée digne d un étoilé Superbement situé dans la réserve avec des guides expérimentés (Gerhard) Un cadre enchanteur Des chambres super spacieuses et d une propreté impeccable ! Bref nous vous le recommandons sans hésiter Dave le patron est super sympa et avenant

Des hébergements de luxe avec une décoration superbe. La terrasse de la chambre avec une petite piscine privé et la vue sur la nature était un rêve. Les sorties pour voir les animaux étaient magiques. Ce séjour était parfait. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel car la réserve est superbe, alternant des plaines et des vallons et on voit à chaque sortie de très nombreux animaux ( éléphants, rhinocéros, zèbres, girafes, phacochères, impalas … ). Le personnel de Inzalo Lodge était aux petits soins.

C'est la 3e fois que nous séjournions dans ce lodge et l'expérience y est toujours aussi merveilleuse. Le lieu est magique, le personnel aux petits soins et les tentes luxueuses avec leur piscine privative avec vue sur la brousse et la montagne hyper confortables. Comme le lodge est de petite taille, on se sent très vite comme chez soi. Petit plus, si vous êtes végétariens, le chef vous proposera des menus spécifiques sur simple demande. La réserve de Welgevonden dans laquelle se situe le lodge est sans nulle doute l'une des plus belles réserves privée d'Afrique du Sud tant par la variété des paysages que par la profusion d'animaux. Les guides sont très compétents et cherchent à montrer toute la beauté de la nature. Nous y retournerons!

Our 3rd visit to this very small lodge in a very diverse Game reserve: hills, valleys, savannah and large grasslands can all be found in the Welgevonden Game reserve. This also means that it sometimes hard to view the wild life; the landscape makes up for that. The lodge is small and guests are welcomed warmly; service is friendly and personal. Meals are well proportioned and lovingly prepared; the suites are nice, including a private deck with plunge pool, overlooking the Snel rivier and its valley. The rangers are professional and know the wildlife and the area. We truly enjoyed our stay here and we will certainly return when planning a trip in the J’burg area.

Oh wow, what an amazing experience this was. Pure luxury, pleasure and hospitality at the lodge in combination with the most stunning drives twice a day. You set the bar really high ! For the four of us (Heleen & Frank, Petra & Ronald) this holiday was our first trip to South Africa and also first time safaris ever. Guess we're spoilt for life now. We'll be back ! A big, BIG thank you to all staff members at the lodge. You made our stay very memorable indeed. A special thanks to our ranger/ driver/ spotter / entert(r)ainer and host Wiseman. You're great !

Inzalo was a dream come true! I still keep on having to pinch myself when I look at the photos and think about our time here! Thank you to the full team that looked after us during our stay. It was truly special and we would recommend this amazing place to anyone. I cannot fault anything. The food was incredible, the lodge was gorgeous, every single member of staff made us feel so welcome and everyone was so friendly! The game drives were fabulous and our guide Wiseman did a great job in looking after us! It was lovely to come back from the game drives and have time to relax in the lodge and outside on the balcony overlooking the river! Thanks Dave and Henriette. You can really see how much love you have put into your lodge! A game reserve was on my bucket list as a one off but now I’ve experienced Inzalo I would come back in a heartbeat!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The room was even more beautiful in real life, and had all the luxury and comfort we could dream of. The lodge feels intimate without feeling crowded, and we found the location along the river really special. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily game drives, but also felt we had enough time in the day to relax and rest. The Inzalo team are fantastic. Our game ranger Wiseman was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Chef Sparks’ food was unbelievable - I still dream of some of the things he cooked for us. The team also accommodated my request to do something special for my partners birthday and they organised a cake, a choir and a private dinner. I’ve been singing Inzalo’s praises and have no hesitation recommending it as an unforgettable spot.

From the breath-taking surroundings to the impeccable hospitality, it was truly a trip we’ll never forget. A special thank you to your amazing team—Lou-ann, Shaun, Carol, Patricia, Sparks, Eric, Magdeline, Maria, and Frans—each of whom contributed to making our stay so memorable. Their warmth, professionalism, and passion for what they do left a lasting impression on us both. I would highly recommend Inzalo to anyone who wishes to have a beautiful safari & bush experience and would come back in a heartbeat!
