Elounda Sunrise Apartments

J'y ai passé 10 nuits, mon partenaire est handicapé et souffrait pendant notre séjour, nous étions donc limités dans ce que nous faisions. Les bonnes choses sont 1. Bon emplacement. La vue sur la baie d'Elounda est incroyable. 2. L'appartement était très propre, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin même si c'était l'une des chambres les plus démodées. Si vous avez besoin de quelque chose, demandez simplement à Peter et s'il peut vous aider, il le fera. 3. Tout le personnel était sympathique et offrait un service de première classe, nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus. Aucun problème pour appeler les taxis ou aider à organiser le transport vers l'aéroport. 4. La nourriture au bar était bonne et à un prix raisonnable. La bière était correcte? avec un bon choix. 5. La musique autour de la piscine était bonne, agréable et relaxante, pas trop bruyante. Mauvaises choses. 1. La piscine était vraiment froide 🥶 jusqu'à notre dernier jour mais c'est début mai. Nous avons passé des moments formidables, surtout compte tenu de notre situation, et nous aimerions dire un grand merci à tous les Elounda Sunrise Apartments. On se retrouve tous l'année prochaine.

I wanted to share my positive experience during a recent stay with my granddaughter Ada.  Yannis was incredibly helpful and friendly upon our arrival. Ada had hurt her thumb, and Yannis was very kind in assisting with that. In fact, we found all the hotel staff to be lovely and always ready to help. We also really appreciated the nice hotel and the good choice of food available at the jungle bar, which was nicely presented. Our room was spotlessly clean and the hotel overall felt very child-friendly. We had a very happy and enjoyable time and would highly recommend your hotel as a great place to stay. I am already planning to return in the future. Belinda

A lovely hotel on the sea front! Comfiest beds i have slept in whilst in Greece! I will warn you though the coach drops you on the main street next to the supermarket and points down a little alley keep walking til you get to the sea, turn right and walk for a few minutes, a bit of a chore if your suitcase wheels aren't working as they should!! We stayed here in May 2023. On arrival, we were greeted with a welcoming smile from Yani who showed us to our room. We were originally put upstairs in the older building above the kitchen, but mum couldn't manage the stairs, we asked for a different room the next morning and was moved straight away, no messing! It was nearly eleven when we arrived and was hungry, (the hotel stops making food at 5pm) so we ordered a drink and Yani ordered us a takeaway gyros from the local takeaway which was lovely of him. Safe deposit box and aircon were charged extra. The cleaners were great and worked so hard, towels and beds changed regularly, rooms swept and mopped every few days. Sula who works behind the bar, does not stop! She was amazing and so was Yani, both are lovely, so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return this May, I just hope the staff are all there especially Pete who organises the boat trips and entertainment, his strawberry raki is awesome!!

We stayed in a sea view apartment in the newer block, whilst friends stayed in a neighbouring block, with a partial sea view that they hadn't booked. We were all pleased with what we had. The hosts are friendly and welcoming at this small, family run hotel. On arrival, they helped carry luggage to our room and the apartment was cool. Aircon was provided for the first day and was 80 Euros for the rest of the week, as we'd booked via EasyJet. Safe charge was 20 Euros. On one of the days, I left my purse, expensive phone and sunglasses on the bed and set off the 20 minutes walk to the main square. After a relaxing lunch, I rushed back to check my items were as I'd left them. The maid had left them neatly arranged on the side cabinet. I needn't have bothered with the safe, as honesty is very much alive in this place. The apartment was spacious with a wonderful balcony area. The bathroom had a walk in shower and again, towels provided, as well as handwash and shower gel. There's a hairdryer in the bedroom, which I didn't use. The twin beds were pushed together. They were very comfortable, as were the pillows. I slept perfectly well, better than at home. The host told me he has the same beds at home. I'm not sure why this is 3 Star, because it is a great quality place. I was apprehensive at staying in anything less than 4 stars, but no need, as this was perfect. I'll be returning. In between the blocks, there are attractive shaded seating areas for cool evening chats and a few hands of cards. A few loungers are available around the small pool, however, regardless of only a handful provided, regardless of the time of day, I always found some free and this in peak season. People didn't just shove towels down and leave for the day. Everyone seemed very fair. A handful of clean towels were provided by the pool, but some days there weren't any left. As I'd taken my own, it wasn't an issue. The pool was always clean and a refreshing break from the August heat. The far side of the pool/bar area has a garden area with more lounges and some umbrellas. Meals at the bar (next to the pool) were reasonably priced and tasted good. Drinks were all exceptional, especially the pina coladas. Bar staff are all friendly and kind. There is a high CCTV presence in the bar area, but zero trouble. It feels a safe, friendly space, and a great place to be when escaping the busier main square area. Between the bar and the sea, there's a small road. I didn't see anyone swimming in the sea there, as you can only access it over large rocks. The walk to the beach is a good 30 - 40 minutes. In really hot weather, it was too much for me to go more than once. The walk to the main square in 20 -30 minutes. A taxi is 6 Euros, although one charged 7. The bar and reception will arrange a taxi on request, day or night (before 1am, as that's when the bar closes). Had 2 weeks at the Elouda Sunrise Apartments We were in the newer block .had a sea view studio ..spacious. nice walk in shower. All the staff are lovely and friendly.. Pete is also very helpful The Full English breakfast is good or if you want a lighter breakfast the yoghurt with fresh fruit is also very nice. The location is great..over road from the sea ,there are steps so you can go for a swim there but it is pebbles so you need shoes. About 5 mins walk to the restaurants ,all on the seafront. The only negative was we thought the air con was expensive.. It's left on the first night then after it's 80 euros a week, we were OK without it but it was getting hotter while we were there so I think you would have to have it in July/ August. We would recommend the Elouda Sunrise but ask for a room in the new block On the last day we paid to keep a room because we had a late flight ..we were given a room in the main block but we much preferred the room we had for the 2 weeks . Arriving late at night we were worried as no one was on sight to check us in, but we didn't have to worry they had a tv screen with your name and number of your apartment is (such a great idea) after a bit if wondering around as they have three buildings, we managed it and pretty much just went straight to bed as we were so tried. The next morning was a lovely surprise to see the balcony with a sea view. We had breakfast included which was a bonus (top tip the greek yoghurt with fruits or nuts is a real must!) they also serve food from the bar and have great variety the pancakes are also yummy! The bar is also well stocked and they do a mean sangria. The room was spacious and well equipped with a fridge, hob, and plenty of wardrobe space with hangers! You are about a 10-15 min walk from Elounda's main square but you will find loads of restaurants and shops along the way and it's mainly flat.
