Brand New Glamorous 3BR House

Disappointed with basics missing We stayed at this property over 4th of July weekend and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the location was nice, the home lacked several essentials that should be standard in any rental. There was no shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, or trash bags provided. The pots and pans had loose handles, and there were no basic cooking staples like salt, pepper, or oil. We were also left with only a very small amount of coffee.The A/C was preset to 78 degrees and kept defaulting back despite our efforts to lower it, making the house uncomfortable during a very hot weekend. The yard was not mowed, which made the outdoor space feel neglected, and we even found a small roach in one of the bedrooms.Communication with the VRBO agent was slow, and when we finally received a response promising to bring the missing items, they left them outside on the side of the house — and they got soaked in the rain before we returned. On our last day, I reached out again with a complaint and never received any response at all.We were really hoping for a relaxing and comfortable stay, but sadly, this property didn’t deliver. I hope the owner takes these issues seriously for future guests.
