We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Globe. We booked two rooms for five people, and both were clean and comfortable. We ate in the pub both nights and really enjoyed the varied options on the menu. The breakfasts were particularly delicious and included some excellent vegetarian options. All the staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. This was a great base from which to explore Topsham and the surrounding areas. The weather was awful, so we spent two very enjoyable afternoons in the warm, cosy pub, enjoying the roaring fires and playing board games. Highly recommended!

A lovely Devon experience very comfortable rooms, delicious local food (try the mussels) and very friendly helpful staff. Right in the middle of town near the estuary combined with such a nice place to stay we fully recommend the hotel for a great hotel/pub experience

We were looked after very well during our 2 day stay. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very conformable with all the amenities' and everything worked as it should. Great wifi too. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Well appointed, clean rooms with a comfy bed. Good facilities such as tea and coffee in room were helpful. All the staff were very helpful and bar was friendly. Really good location in town with other amenities nearby. Parking available across the road.

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable bed, nice smellies in the bathroom, staff welcoming. Yummy breakfast! Cosy pub with open fires. Good choices of places to eat nearby. Recommend hiring bikes for the Exe Estuary trail. No parking but long stay parking on Holman Way very reasonable.

We stayed in the self-catering appartment which was spacious, clean and tidy and well equipped. There two flights of stairs in the appartment. The staff were friendly and helpful. A really good location near the quay and town centre. We did not eat in the hotel.

We had a really enjoyable stay at The Globe. All the staff we met were very friendly right from our check in. Room was perfect for our needs with plenty of space and a comfy bed. The food was lovely when we had our evening meal and breakfast was plentiful and properly set us up for the day exploring the town

A great short break in a lovely old renovated coaching inn. Very friendly staff. Log fires lit all day. Fabulous breakfast. A comfortable, friendly atmosphere and great value. The area was also lovely to explore with interesting independent shops in the little town. It is a delightful walk along the estuary and we visited the wetlands area with RSPB hide and cafe.

Over many years I have enjoyed staying at The Globe when on business in the Exeter area. It's a refreshing change from mainstream corporate hotels. At the Globe I can sit and do my emails etc. in a 'real' bar and enjoy a beer or three. Occasionally I have invited my local Customers for a drink. It's nice to see that Topsham residents use the bar as well as hotel guests. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and I am treated as a real person rather than just another guest. The rooms are warm, well appointed and comfortable. I have favourites that I like to request - if they're available of course. The food is fine but Topsham offers alternatives should you prefer to explore. One day I hope to stay with my wife on holiday.
