Travelodge Peterborough Eye Green

Staff were all very friendly which is something you dont see as often as you'd like when staying away. Plenty of food options near by and quieter than you'd think considering its near a main road. Room was clean, bed was nice and cozy. Would recommend

The room was clean and everything worked. It wasn't too loud, and staff were friendly. The rates were reasonable, considering I booked same day.

The room was very dated and needs refurbishing, there was also a distinct smell of smoke (considering the smoking ban has been for ages I do not understand how this could happen). On a positive side the mattress was comfortable so I had a decent sleep.

The hotel was a quick stop over on our way to another part of the country. The hotel receptionist was welcoming. The hotel room was too warm, and being a ground floor, the window would only open slightly ajar. Traffic noise also meant we couldn't open the window on a night. The hotel supplied a desk top fan which remained switched on the whole time we were there. The room was tired looking, plaster flaking off the wall and a dirty tide mark around the bath. Every door in the hotel was VERY heavy to open, requiring both hands - difficult when you have luggage and a child in tow. I won't be staying here again. The hotel has a petrol station, Greggs, Subway, McDs and Starbucks on the same site which is handy for a quick snack/coffee.

This was the better of the two Travel Lodge rooms we stayed in this trip. It was usefull to find other outlets on the same site, Asda Express, Greggs and Fuel. However Reception was very poor. He had trouble booking us in, lacked confidence and was very slow.

Was clean enough for a one night stay while travelling, need to go back to air conditioning as the heat was unbearable and made for a very uncomfortable night.
