Hôtels 3 étoiles à Fall River

This Inn was the worst place we have ever stayed in - from the booking process and not ever receiving an email confirmation to the hassel of their payment requirements. They are not in any way, shape, or form, handicap accessible. My husband is on oxygen and they tried to have us in a room on the 3rd floor - there is no elevator. The friends we were traveling with were then booked into the 3rd floor room; one of them is 82 years old. As she was bringing in her suitcase, she fell outside the front door in plain view of the desk clerk. While he did not move a muscle to help her, a woman who had just checked her aunt into a room, helped her up and carried her bag up the 3 flights of stairs. In the meantime, my husband and I went down a flight of stairs to our ”deluxe room” which came with a 2-3 person hot tub - in the room right next to the bed. This was probably why the room smelled of mold and mildew. The sliding glass door opened up to the pool area. When I opened the drapes, there was a couple basking in the sun right outisde our door. This hotel was built in 1972 - it appears there have been zero updates since then. And last, in all our travels, the final bill is paid upon check-out. Not here. They charge everything upfront upon check-in and good luck if there is an issue. The only reason we stayed here is we needed to extend our 2 rooms for a second night and to be near the airport. Our original booked hotel could not accommodate the second night and this is what was available. I think I would have preferred sleeping in the airport or the car over this place, especially since it was more than twice the price of the original hotel we had booked.

Nous avons séjourné ici la dernière nuit de notre voyage en Nouvelle-Écosse parce que nous voulions être proches de l'aéroport. Le contrôle en cours était un peu informel - nous n'avons pas dû descendre au bar et trouver une personne, et lui payer directement sur un lecteur de cartes portables. Il était chaud, car seulement une des chambres avait une unité a/c, et nous ne l'avons pas remarquée la nuit. FYI, il est au-dessus de la fenêtre et la télé est à l'intérieur du bureau! Nous avons séjourné dans la suite Thomas, qui a deux chambres. Les autres chambres sont plus petites. Il y a une zone commune au deuxième étage où sont le café et la micro-ondes. Ils ont eu quelques jeux de table, un foyer, un canapé et un balcon. Il y avait de l'eau froide dans les décanteurs de verre au réfrigérateur, et tout le verre était réfrigéré au réfrigérateur, il y avait du jus et du yogurt dans la chambre commune, et notre petit déjeuner était composé de muffins, de fruits et de bars de granola. Il était bruyant jusqu'à la fermeture du restaurant, mais après cela il était assez calme. Le premier désavantage était entré là. Il est sur une route occupée (nous sommes arrivés à l'heure de la rupture), et il n'y a qu'une voie d'entrée et de sortie. Le parking est un peu petit, mais il y avait quelques espaces quand nous y sommes arrivés. J'ai abandonné et tourné à droite, et il y a un tour autour d'un bloc de cette façon où vous pouvez faire un tour U.
