This charming cottage is nestled in the Texas Hill Country town of Tarpley and just a two minute walk from the famous Mac and Ernies Roadside Eatery which has been featured on the Food Channel, Southern Living and Texas Monthly.This guesthouse is a great base camp for short trips to Lost Maples State Park, the Hill Country State Natural Area, Garner State Park and Bandera.You can also take a short walk from the house to the crystal clear waters of Williams Creek. It is about .2 miles away.Although the cabin is secluded, you may hear the family gathering nearby sometimes in the summer and on holidays. Our cabin sleeps 4 on two queen beds. No more than four people and one dog are allowed unless you have prior approval by the owner. There is a full kitchen and bath. There is a smart TV with DVD player and a large selection of movies for you to enjoy. We have internet! There is a large porch on the front and back of the cabin where you can relax and watch the wildlife come to the feeder.
