Adequate facilities No hand towels or hairdryer or iron! Cups chipped Otherwise comfortable and basic. Gentleman at front desk friendly

We arrived for our 1 night stay to find the standard of the hotel far from acceptable. The room had a strong smell of body odour partly masked by sanitiser. The windows were open presumably to obviate the smell. The furniture was shabby and badly worn large tears in the desk chair. The receptionist was polite and tried to be helpful but could not offer a better room saying that all were in a similar condition. We were not prepared to stay in such substandard accommodation and left. We booked in another local hotel which was of high quality and not much more expensive. I would appreciate your comments and will be satisfied with reimbursement of our unused payment.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel - it has no pretensions towards luxury, of course, but I thought my room was really good value for money and I had a very quiet and pleasant stay, and slept better than I often do at home (!). The bedroom was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the en suite bathroom very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

As good as they get although it’s a shame their accessible rooms are rarely accompanied by a wet room style bathroom (meaning my wife can’t get a shower)

Room 37 was not clean enough for my liking. Dust on headbed, shelves, bin. Bathroom dust, & limescale

I stayed here for 3 nights and just wanted to say a big thank you to James on reception , this guy has been so helpful and needs a big shout out. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if u are in the area . Very clean and tidy rooms . Also tea and coffee
