L'environnement est très bon, juste à côté du quai, et il est très pratique de manger au supermarché à proximité. Le petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel est très riche et vous pouvez admirer le paysage extérieur. L'hygiène de l'hôtel est également très bonne et la décoration est très rétro. C'est un hôtel qui vaut la peine d'y séjourner

Les installations sont vieilles, les tapis des allées et ceux du restaurant sont sales. La baignoire est petite et dangereuse, et l’hygiène générale est médiocre. Performance coûteuse et à faible coût. Le service est moyen. L'heure d'arrivée à 16h00 est trop tardive et l'heure de départ à 11h00 est trop tôt. Le petit déjeuner était riche et bon.

Si vous n'avez pas d'autre choix, ne séjournez pas dans cet hôtel. It is only a 2 minutes walk from Flåm station. Building of the hotel is beautiful. Our room has access to garden on first floor. Very peaceful and quiet stay. Room is big and clean. Breakfast is great with Norwegian spread. Staff are friendly. Swift checkin.

We found the Fretheim Hotel very pleasant upon arrival — from the beautiful entryway to the stunning views from our balcony and the delicious breakfast, it certainly makes a great first impression. However, our room was a disappointment. Walking in, it felt outdated and somewhat cheap, which was surprising given the price of 2800 NOK per night. Essentials were lacking: no face washers, tissues, or shampoo were provided (the staff suggested using body wash as a substitute), and we had to specifically request a small bottle of conditioner. The old age of the towels was clearly apparent, and mold was visible on the glass wall at the edge of the bath. Another unusual aspect was room temperature control: it’s managed from the main desk downstairs, and with no phone in the room, we had to go down late at night just to adjust it. We’ve never encountered this before. The bathroom clearly shows its age — dated to the late 1990s — and it contributed to the overall feeling of the room being out of step with the hotel’s otherwise high standard. In summary, while the hotel itself is charming and well-located, the room we stayed in did not meet expectations for the price and could benefit from updates and better in-room amenities.

Hotel is quite old and room not modern but still under good maintenance. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect close to railway station.

Freitheim hotel was great for 1 night stay in Flam. Seemingly clean and cosy. Abit pricey but no other great choice.

Fretheim Hotel has a fantastic location right by the fjord and a charming, historic building full of character. The atmosphere is lovely, but the rooms feel quite old-fashioned and could use some renovation. Overall, a decent stay in a beautiful setting.

This is a heritage hotel and it feels like one which means it's a bit old but has a certain charm. Has excellent views if your room faces the fjord. Sound insulation is not the best. Breakfast spread can be improved.

Good location close to the train station and harbor. Minimal amenities and dinner at the hotel restaurant was only buffet.
