We’ve had an amazing stay here, mainly thanks to Sotte and the great team! They were always around to give information on anything we needed. The hotel is right on the beach and has a very good and reasonably priced restaurant. The excursions are fun and affordable (would recommend the shark and turtle snorkelling). You’ll have the most relaxing time here!!

A very pleasant stay. A nice owner. Spacious bright room with a balcony. Perfect location. Very suitable for a longer stay. Will not break your budget. User-friendly. The beach and food is right there. Also milk shakes and snacks during the day.

The hotel is not well maintained and the staff is not helpfull. We were paying 80 eur per night for a place that we should be paying 30-40 eur per night maximum. We arrived at 2 pm to Fulidhoo and we asked the staff for a restaurant but they said they didn't know and that we could check the restaurant of the hotel. I can't believe they do not know the restaurants of an island that is 400 meters long, I think there are 3 restaurants only. The hotel is not very well mainteined, the wood is rotten and there are lots of humidity patches, mainly in the bathroom. The water is running very slowly at the shower. At the terrace there are two chairs and one was full of fungus and it had a ketchup's bag of the previous guests on it. There are also lacking tiles at the terrace. They aren't flexible at all. Breakfast is from 7:30 h and we asked one day if it would be posible to have it at 7:15 h because we had an excursion. They said that they would ask the chef but the day after there was no one there. Finally, the chef ended his shower and started making the breakfast which was ready about 7:45 h so we had 5 minutes to take it. They don't have coffee for breakfast and we had to buy our own. Breakfast is not very very bad but the juice is mostly a powder one and they give you fruit for one person only. They also have a chained amazonian blue and yellow parrot. It is not pleasant to see a poor chained animal exposed as a clown while you are eating. Furthermore, its yells doesn't let you rest or have a nap during day time. The bedroom is acceptable and the bed is ok, as you can check on the pictures they have which are mostly of the bed and the sea or beach. Bougainvillea hotel is one of the cheapest in Fulidhoo but it is too expensive for what they offer.

The Pillows, the bed, the room, the towels, and the bathroom are smelly. a lot of ants of different sizes, cockroaches, and mousquitos are always around. The hotel is not clean. No wonder there are no photos of the bathroom on all booking websites because it is not clean, tiny and smelly There is no staff only a one-man show. one boy 20 years he was the driver who picked up us from the ferry, the concierge, the receptionist, the manager, and the cook in the restaurant. i hated my stay in Fulidhoo because of this Hotel, felt I was trapped. they were doing construction work on our balcony while we were staying there. the restaurant is really basic. There is a CHAINED poor PARROT that makes an annoyingly loud sound from early morning till sunset. MAYBE BECAUSE HE CANNOT REACH THE WATER AND FOOD due to the short metal chain. Cannot change the hotel already charged my credit card before travelling ( even it says to pay at the property) very expensive compared to the NO FACILITIES in general Don't spend more than 2 days in Fulidhoo it is not worth it, or you just visit it in day trip from Maafushi i was so disappointed .it ruins my stay in Fulidhoo i will give the hotel 3 out of 10

All recommendations for this accommodation on Fulidhoo. The room was clean, with a balcony, air conditioning and all necessary amenities. The accommodation is in a great spot on the island, and close to everything you need. Breakfast was also excellent, and always at a time that suited us. The hosts are professionals, wonderful people, they helped us with the organization of excursions, they waited for us and escorted us off the island and helped us with our luggage. They made our vacation better and did everything to make a week on this island one of our most beautiful experiences.
