Econo Lodge Gallup

New management seems unsafe. They did not ask my name, charge for incidentals, look at my ID, or take my credit card before handing me a room key. When I got to the room, the lights didn’t work and the beds weren’t made. This was the most unsafe I’ve ever felt in a hotel and I ended up leaving to stay at another hotel in the area. Since I had already checked in, I wasn’t able to get a refund, either.

Absolute dumpster of a hotel. Room I was given had a bathroom that looked under construction. There were bottles, cardboard, and loose screws scattered about. There was no room phone and the room was also in disrepair. I walked to the front office and nobody was there. I called the number that was left on a sign on the desk 4 times. I never got an answer. I called the number on the website. Still no answer. I start knocking on the managers door. No answer. There was literally nobody around to address the issues. I left my room key on the counter, packed up my things, and left. Finally, the hotel listing said it had EV charging. It absolutely did not. Worst hotel I’ve ever dealt with and nobody was able to help. A waste of money and 45 minutes of my life. The Red Roof Inn across the street was fantastic.

As far as I could tell, I was the only person in the hotel. And I left without going into the room. And they refused to give a refund although ********** did. Lots of signs about not being responsible for loss or theft. Fire doors all locked. Really a scary, dangerous looking place. Said under new management and the econolodge sign was just a temporary banner. Avoid this place.

Room nice and clean area. And outside bad food in the morning did not happen no ice machine

Advertised an EV charger, total lie. Advertised Continental breakfast, total lie. No breakfast not even coffee by 8:00 in the morning. No ice machine or ice. No Kleenex in the room. This place is horrible.

room was clean look nice but I think would be nice to have more confortable pillows lady in the lesh was very polity and kind . Also didnt have toilet paper

Room 121 was most excellent. Clean. Everything worked. Everything was completely comfortable. The front desk experience was robotic but friendly. THE BREAKFAST WAS AN INEDIBLE LET DOWN😝😝😝 I had the option to stay in a less expensive motel with no breakfast included but I spent the extra five bux to stay here for hopefully a nice Continental breakfast. WHAT I SHAME! There were two bagels in a Walmart Great value bag and the last 4th end butt of a loaf of bread also in a store plastic bag. No fruit. Empty fridge. I don't know what the waffles were made of but it seemed like tasteless cardboard. Could not eat. Nothing at all to drink except coffee yet it too was Was horrible The breakfast clerk seemed like a zombie: The only words I heard them mumble was "what's wrong?" It was a very nice room however and for the price worth it, and I did enjoy my stay there 🙏

I was unable to check in, but I got a receipt that I was still charged for the stay. Can you confurm the charge?
