Abbey View

The minute we stepped inside the front door of this beautiful bed and breakfast , we were treated like long lost family, by Bernie , such was the caring homely welcome we received. I stayed with my three teenage children , including my brothers three children. Bernie done everything she could for us as we were attending a wedding in Glenlow Abbey , which I have to say , Glenlow Abbey could not have given us the care that Bernie did . Everything was wonderful the location, room , comfortable bed and delicious breakfast, the nicest we ever had . Thank you Bernie, oh my goodness we will not forget you, for making it a memorable stay for all of us , as it was a very special wedding and happy family event . The significance of it, is more than I can explain with words. Thank you so much .

A wonderful B&B with a wonderful hostess. Bernie is a lovely lady who ensured that my stay was perfect. The room was spotless and very comfortable. A great selection/choice of breakfast. In the evening I took advantage of the very comfy to lounge to watch tv. Overall a very enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price. I will definitely return. Thank you , Jim

Memorable stay experience in Galway and highly recommend this B&B as your choice of stay next visit to Galway. My family stayed here for 2 nights in late September. Warm welcoming (with tea & cookies) and feeling like home. Bernie is an excellent host who is willing to help. She helped us order taxi and offered us a ride to the University (in urgent situation). She also gave advice how to go to the town city easily and restaurants recommendations. I am impressed and appreciate her exceptional good services during our stay. Guest bedrooms are nicely decorated, clean with comfy beds. Delicious breakfast gives guests full capacity to start a new day. Thank you, Bernie. We will be back in next possible visit to Galway.

My friend and I stayed here for one night last weekend when we attended a wedding in a local hotel. There was a mix up with the booking, we were double booked with another local B n B - absolutely nothing to do with Bernie - but Bernie was so helpful in sorting out the issue to everybody’s satisfaction. We booked 2 rooms which were comfortable and spotless. Bernie was an excellent host-very warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Excellent B & B on the western side of the city, located on the N59, almost opposite the Glenlo Abbey hotels entrance drive. Comfortable room and bed, excellent breakfasts, easy parking Bernie is an excellent host. There is a large and comfy guests lounge. Useful for exploring Galway city and Connemara.

We had a very wonderful and comfy 2 nights stay here! Bed was comfy, big bathroom and shower where you can easily move around, breakfast were excellent, ample parking space! The star is definitely the host - Bernie! She was very attentive, friendly and helpful! She genuinely was interested in your day and plans and gave her helpful recommendations. (We even did her recommendation of doing the walk around the golf course across the street when we arrived!) We hand washed some of our clothes and hung them in our room … and to our surprise, when we came back for the day, they were all dry and laid on the bed! That was a special thing to do which we did not expect. (But also embarrassing as we had underwear hanging too. Lol)
