Premier Inn Newcastle (Metro Centre)

"The room was very clean, the amenities were very good, food was good with a good variety, and the price was very reasonable. my wife and I had to travel from london to Gateshead for a funeral, and we both have mobility health problems. From the start booking was made very easy with the help of receptionist Vicky because we needed an easy accessible room. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and at ease. After unpacking we went to the restaurant/Bar for a well earned drink and dinner, the staff were way beond helpful and nothing was to much trouble. the following day we went to the funeral, and on our return found a box of Ferrero Rocher, and a voucher each for a free drink at the bar and a nice little note to help raise our spirits. In the restaurant Emma, Julie, and Faith with her infectious smile, were all so above and beound. The recption team Vicky and Craig were also so helpful it was a breath of fresh air, as well as James who is not just a maintence man, was so helpful with doors and our bags, without being asked. also every member of staff always had a couple of minutes to have a quick chat. We think all the staff had to three mantras, " do you need anything else " " can I help you with that " " and my favourite " nah bother " we could not have been more looked after if we were staying at a Hilton hotel.
