During my recent stay at the hotel, I faced several issues that made my experience less than satisfactory. Upon check-in, I was asked to provide a deposit of 1,000 CHF, which felt quite excessive and gave me the uncomfortable impression that the hotel staff doubted their guests’ trustworthiness. This was disappointing and left a negative first impression.
Additionally, although the weather was quite hot, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning. When I raised the issue with the hotel, I was informed that the AC only operates during the official summer season, which seemed unreasonable given the high temperatures during my stay.
On a positive note, I must mention that the hotel was very clean, and its location was excellent — close to all major attractions and essential facilities, which made moving around the city very convenient.
Overall, while the hotel has some strong qualities, improvements in guest service and basic amenities are necessary to provide a more comfortable and welcoming experience.
