The Georgetown Lodge was very accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Previous reviews said they were smokey but that is not the case in the 6 non-smoking rooms we stayed in. We had a wedding in Georgetown and the Lodge has a banquet room used. We had a small group of 12. We decorated for the wedding reception, it was fantastic to have our own space. There is a stove, sink and refrigerator too. We had a fantastic time and the staff was friendly. What a great find in quaint Georgetown.

Scary from the start. Photos do not truly represent this motel. Check-in is down two flights of steps, sort of like walking into a ******* house. Staff was personable. Going to our room, outside entrance, past quite a few guests that appeared to be long term renters. Area was very dark and intimidating. First room key did not work and was assigned a different room. There is NOTHING updated in the room whatsoever, including carpeting that has long been used beyond its lifespan. Room was actually clean, but needs a serious update. You definitely get what you pay for in this area. After all day of traveling, we opted to stay the night. We quickly left the next morning. There was no way we were staying for breakfast. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Convenient location (just off I-70, close to Mt. Blue Sky, Mt. Bierstadt, Grays Peak, and Torreys Peak), quiet room, comfortable bed, reasonable price, great free breakfast, and friendly staff—we enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Lodge and look forward to staying there again. I highly recommend it!

The bed was very comfortable slept like a log, good pressure in shower and the breakfast was nice with o.j. and waffles.thank you to manager Adrienne and lisa made my stay very nice, they were so accommodating. Will stay again the next time I'm visiting.Georgetown itself is very interesting, very old town

Staff nice and welcoming. The room was okay until I realized that the air conditioning didn’t work. I opened the door as cooler outside. The bed was simply horrible and my son 20 considered sleeping on floor but I encouraged him not to as bugs, etc. We were only there overnight to do Mt Bierdstadt.

Middling experience. I was initially put in a room that hadn't been cleaned. The bed and towels were mint, but the rest of the room was too weird to simply be low standards. I was moved to a new room, which was fine, nothing special. Would not return.

OK but the wifi password given by desk didn't work. Would stay again with low expectations. Still I want to support businesses in struggling towns so will stay again. Also finding the Mother's tavern was tough and Coopers was too expensive. That does not reflection the accommodation; just a comment.

Everything about this stay was nice.. first we had a non refundable reservation but Vail Summit was closed and we didnt want to wait in the storm for it to reopen.. We called the lodge and explained, they let us change our reservation to a few days later.. When we got there check in was friendly and quick.. The room was cozy and had everything we needed.. super comfortable bed and pillows.. and I am a pillow princes. The breakfast was good, When we were getting up to leave the women working asked if we were staying for the weekend. When we said “no” she made sure we took extra muffins with us for the road.. It was a pleasant stay..the room was clean, comfy and warm. We ate at the PHO place down the road which was really good. We would stay again.. We booked direct, got a better price than the booking engines plus I think that was one of the reasons they easily changed our dates.

Checked in and had to walk down 2 sets of stairs to get to the desk. Unusual start. When got to my room and the smell of smoke and mustiness was overpowering. Went to Dollar General for a can of Febreze to make it through the night. Nice TV with all the streaming services available but only if you log in to them with YOUR information. Heard the neighbors upstairs through the ceiling. Walls and ceiling not noise cancelling at all. The only ice machine is in the main building, you have to walk back down an outside icy stairway, and it has a sign that its only for cups and directs you to the gas station next door if you want to fill a cooler? I gave a positive for the waffle maker at breakfast and because the staff I met were pleasant. If not for the "no refund" policy I would have left, but at 8pm and with a can of Febreze in hand, I thought I'll just tough it out. The $20 I saved was not a good decision. Had to join trip advisor to leave a review.
