Premier Inn Glasgow CC Buchanan Galleries

Dinner- Calamari consisted only of small bits of fried batter, prawn linguini smelled and tasted stale - inedible, I sent it back, it was returned reheated?? Sticky toffee pudding was poor but edible. The complimentary cappuccino was cold. Breakfast- Good. Service was excellent, bedroom and accesories were great As a frequent and satisfied visitor of Premier Inns throughout Britain, Buchanan Galleries has been a big disappointment.

Really great team - we stayed here for a night out for a friend’s birthday. I dropped off balloons, flowers etc for her room and they added chocolates and mini bottles of wine/prosecco. My only comment is that since the self check in kiosks weren’t working, there was a massive queue at 3pm. They had 3 staff on manual check in but another couple at busy times would help.

The Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre Buchanan Galleries Hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walking distance from either the bus station or the train station, there is also secure car parking very nearby, also the hotel is very central for shopping, restaurants and bars and for taking in the sights and sounds of Glasgow City Centre, I would definitely use this hotel again for my next trip to Glasgow and highly recommend it…thanks and regards Anthony

Very comfortable nights stay in the heart of the city. Very close to the bus station for onward travel and on the doorstep for theatre, restaurants, shopping and much more. The rooms are well equipped with electrical sockets, table and chairs to relax, good lighting, air conditioning/heating and a good sized walk in shower.

Superb hotel. Positives: Ideal location, lovely welcoming staff, very friendly, efficient, clean, accessible toilets as my father has mobility issues, great breakfast. Good drinks service. Must mention a new member of the team David, who served us twice upstairs at the bar, he was extremely friendly, polite and couldn’t do enough for us even though he had just started and was nervous. What a lovely fella. Room was spacious, fresh, tidy, clean, and well equipped. Great shower. Negatives: very little to be honest. Unfortunately its location restricts this hotel from having a car park. The restaurant was closed so no dinner was available. Breakfast was lovely, however no orange juice was served. Lovely waiting and efficient waiting staff.

Newly refurbished rooms staff frienldy service excellent, food choices great, great location, close to rail station, and Concert hall. Just off sauchie hall street Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Bad points...the hotel is having some renovation work done. Only inform led of this 24hrs before check in. Luckily didn't hear any building noises. Check in was poor. Toilet seat stained. 18 floors and only 3 lifts that had minds of their own. Good points...staff friendly, breakfast good, decent location.

The heating in the room didn't appear to be working. We were given an additional heater that made no difference and the room remained uncomfortably cold. No one came into the room to actually check whether the system was operating properly and when we complained again, they just offered us more heaters. Only the evening before we were due to check out were we offered an alternative room, despite making several complaints. Staff were very unhelpful when it came to the issue and I am very disappointed.
