Hôtels à Gloucester District avec petit déjeuner

We had 2 rooms booked for one night. We were so tired after a long day, but the check in was quick. The girls at the reception even found us a phone charger! The rooms were very spacious and had tea/coffee making facilities. Only thing I would say is that in one room the light wasn't enough. Basic breakfast but sufficient to keep us going til lunch. When the breakfast area is full they use the meeting room. Plenty of parking space too.

Eh bien ... c'est un premier salon, donc il n'est pas trop différent des autres premiers salons - vous savez ce que vous obtenez: un lit décent dans une chambre fonctionnelle, dans une position décente. Cela a ticté toutes les boîtes. Le parking gratuit était grand, bien que limité à la fin de semaine. Nous avons fait un petit excès en obtenant une salle d'administration, qui était juste à peu près la valeur de cette salle - puisque nous avons une réfrigérateur, une machine à café (mais pas de biscuits!) et la salle était un peu plus jolie. Le Wi-Fi était lent et il ne semblait pas que nous pouvions obtenir le Wi-Fi final malgré l'obtention d'une chambre à niveau ? Air con fonctionna bien, mais semblait se débrouiller la nuit, mais le lit était confortable et les chaussures électriques abondantes :-) Les aveugles de désert étaient aussi bonnes. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mais ils n'ont pas eu de garde-côtes sur un samedi. Stop penny pinching!! Cela signifie que les tables étaient demi-cleared, les petits déjeuners étaient demi-rempliqués et une attente pour obtenir un table. Le petit déjeuner que nous avons reçu était bon, pas beaucoup de ce que nous voulions. Et apparemment un manque de jus d'orange dans le monde (?) Resterait ici encore, car il n'est pas mauvais pour le prix et près de la famille, mais nous mangerions le petit déjeuner à Bill la prochaine fois!

Having read the reviews on here I had a vague idea of what to expect and wasn't looking forward to it.... how wrong I was to trust some of these reviews! Yes it's in a bit of a rough and ready area and there are some shady characters hanging around in the evening... however don't bother them and they don't bother you. Parking is as advertised out front and space for about 3 cars but I believe you can park outside no 74 too. The building itself is very clean and tidy once inside albeit a little dated in places. I didn't use the breakfast included with my room as had other plans but I did check out the breakfast/kitchen area and was very impressed at how clean and modern it was and how many seats were available overlooking a well kept garden. I had room 205 at the very top of the property overlooking the street and found it to be very clean. Nice clean bedding and towels provided as well as tea and coffee facilities although I was missing a spoon which was a bit annoying but I didn't let it ruin my day like some would. The bathroom was clean and had enough toilet roll for my stay, the shower did have a bit of the beading hanging off at the bottom and a bit of mould around the edges but it's not the end of the world and I survived. The sink provided very hot water from the hot tap but the cold tap did turn when I used it which was comical however it still worked as it should, i have mentioned it in the review to the hotel as I didn't see any of the owners whilst there. Would I stay again... probably not as I don't plan on going back to Gloucester anytime soon but if I were to go back I certainly would consider it as the room was almost 50% cheaper than alternatives in the same area! Oh and if you're over 16 and have a driving licence there are a few VOI scooter parking areas nearby which are a great way to get around for 17p per minute!!
