Hôtels proches de Greater Works Than These Ministries, Comte de Glynn

Très belle séjour. Tout ce que je m'attendais à partir d'un hôtel propriétaire de Hilton. Facile d'atteindre les sites historiques de la région. Si j'avais une plainte, c'était que le café dans la chambre était décafé. L'horreur! Petit déjeuner était très bon. De nouveau, facilement vérifier à l'entrée et à l'extérieur.

This was my 1st time visiting St. Simon so I had not seen the hotel before. I was worried with the noise when we pulled in right as a plane was preparing to leave. I was very happy as soon as I went into the hotel and the noise disappeared. We didn't hear a thing while inside. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. I slept very well. The cons: the bathroom door is a sliding barn style that doesn't latch so it slid open as you were taking care of business. The light fixtures was not properly attached to the ceiling and the cabinet doors were not aligned level when they were assembled. They just need to do a quality check through the rooms to fix the little things. The pro: the gentlemen running the breakfast were on point! And the night clerk was very helpful with suggestions for dinner. The staff can make or break a hotel. These 3 staff members are definitely assets.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights this past week we were dealing with a stressful family . When we were planning our trip to Jekyll Island we had originally planned on staying there for our entire trip. But when we finally decided to book they had limited availability and we were only able to get one night. So we had booked the Holiday Inn Resort down the road, the reviews for that were ok. The Holiday Inn was hmmm.. lets just say it is not what we were expecting. Luckily I happened to check my Marriot Bonvoy App and the next 2 nights became available at the Westin. I canceled the rest of our stay at the Holiday Inn. We had back to back reservations and I was worried we would have to keep changing rooms. We went over to the Westin, and it is right in the middle of all the newer shops and restaurants. The location is perfect. This was the best decision we could have made, upon checking in we were greeted by Cheryl Graham. Cheryl went out her way to fix our reservation and make sure we stayed in the same room the whole time. She also went out of her way to point out all the things in the area that were fun to do and explain what was included in the resort fee. Cheryl greeted us each day with a smile and she was so friendly and I feel like she genuinely cared about our happiness with our stay. Cheryl helped make our trip a truly wonderful vacation. The room were very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the all-around hotel was very clean and inviting. We were able to relax and enjoy our time there. Also, Travis the bartender was very funny and friendly. Great staff at this hotel all the way around, the facility is being upgraded but it did not bother us. We are happy to see hotels doing renovations and keeping up with their facility. All around a great place and we definitely will be returning.
