Situé dans un endroit merveilleux directement sur la plage dans les sables d'or, l'hôtel propose toutes les installations pour les touristes les plus exigeants. De la station de stationnement, tout se poursuivait avec l'apparence générale de la réception, tout se poursuivait avec un check-in très rapide et facile aux chambres très spacieuses, tout était à un niveau élevé.

Lits rois également disponibles mais pas dans toutes les chambres. Mini bar disponible. Les toilettes sont disponibles (bonnes) et le sèche-cheveux. A/C disponibles. Petit déjeuner: international, varié. Vous pouvez trouver quelque chose que vous voulez. Servé sur le haut du sol (bon aperçu).

Grand Hotel London is a gem, but a gem that needs polishing, and one which needs supporting if it is to complete a successful comeback after the pandemic. The building is a Belle Epoque triumph, the bar, the rooms have to be seen to be believed. We had a splendid suite overlooking the square (#1) which was wonderful to stay in. The bathroom was modern and entirely satisfactory. Staff were very helpful during our stay, and we found the breakfast quite adequate ( though it required passing downstairs to the lobby and then up to the breakfast room) The bar was architecturally magnificent, but almost always empty, and the restaurant hasn't reopened for evening meals. The location is very convenient for the beach, museums and galleries and the Railway station. One final point; there is a large tree immediately outside the hotel which needs radical pruning to improve the view into and out of the hotel.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans un appartement triple. Très grande, propre et confortable. Hôtel situé au cœur de Varna, très bonne position. Easy access to everywhere. Nice stuff. Good breakfast. Tout est excellent. Seul un point négatif est un petit ascenseur qui n'est rien d'important en dehors des autres avantages.

The room was nice, lots of space in the junior suite with a large bathroom. We had the pool to ourselves each time we used it but I'm not sure how full the hotel was when we there so couldn't say whether this was normal or not. There are certainly some improvements that can be made which would have made the stay more enjoyable and comfortable. Firstly, reception staff could be more friendly and professional. Secondly, the breakfast buffet needs a little more variety and the hot food needs to be hotter. Nobody wants cold scrambled eggs. Lastly, and this was our main gripe, the room was too hot. It was 26 C minimum which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The aircon didn't work and after a call to reception we were told it was switched off due to it being off season. This would have been fine if we could open the windows in the room (like we did at other hotels on our trip) but you can't. There was no way to cool it down to a more comfortable level. In summary, it's a nice hotel that needs some improvements making. I wouldn't say it was a 5 star hotel but it could be.

La destination Varna était choisie pour voir ce à quoi ressemblait cette station balnéaire célèbre en Bulgarie. Restait à trouver l’hôtel. Bah le choix était très large, et les photos de certaines chambres de certains hôtels laissant plus qu’à désirer, le choix s’est porté sur l’hôtel Modus. Hôtel plutôt haut de gamme. La super surprise. Petit hôtel près du centre-ville en angle de rue. Accueil hyper sympa, très prévenant. Vraiment l’hôtellerie telle que je la conçois. Une déco moderne, des matières et des couleurs humer bien associées. Une chambre aux bonnes dimensions, une literie de qualité…. Tout comme il faut. Un petit déjeuner avec un choix de boissons chaudes, de jus de fruits frais, de viennoiseries…. Mention spéciale à la dame qui est au service. Rapide, prévenante, souriante. Merci à vous Madame et à toute l’équipe. Un rapport qualité prix au top. 👏
