When planning our trip to GC, I did a lot of research on where to stay. I didn’t see much about Discovery Point Club and it is BY FAR the most underrated thing we experienced while visiting. For some comfortable peace and quiet, beautiful seven mile beaches and snorkeling right outside your back door.. this is the place! We stayed five nights and it was affordable and perfect. But let’s not forget (and I will never forget) Ollie, Diane, and the rest of the staff. They were so wonderful and kind. We felt like family immediately. They went above and beyond every moment of our stay.

We have never been in such a well equipped condo rental! The unit was clean, ready and equipped as we requested, and very comfortable. Discovery Point Club seems very well managed and everyone was super nice and accommodating to every request. Although there is some iron shore off the sandy beach at DPC, just the right or left of the resort is easy unimpeded access into the ocean for swim or snorkel. The pool was amazing and plenty of palapas, umbrellas and beach chairs for everyone at all times! We loved the layout of our unit #46, the screened balcony (no worries about mosquitoes!) and sunset ocean views. Would highly recommend!!!

This is a clean and well kept condo complex. Ann Rose in the office was very helpful with any thing we needed. Great location on 7 mile beach. The view from our second floor balcony was terrific! It was a very quiet location. It was close to several restaurants.

I traveled to Grand Cayman with my friend and our teenage daughters for a week in March and we had an excellent trip. Our girls were certfied as divers down the road at InDepth Watersports and we traveled to Stingray City and Rum Point, but the highlight was renting paddle boards on the property and exploring the beautiful water right off the beach. It is crystal clear and full of beautiful wildlife. I've stayed at Discovery Point Club every time I've traveled to the island since 1991 and it never disappoints. The beach is secluded and beautiful -- much different from the big hotels down Seven Mile Beach where people are packed in like sardines! We stayed in #31 (second floor) and I'd rent there again if the first floor isn't an option. It had everything we needed including beautiful views and comfortable rooms. If you're looking for a family-friendly beach vacation spot, I highly recommend Discovery Point!

Truly enjoyed our time at Discovery Point. The staff was hospitable and really made you feel like you were at a home away from home. Our condo was clean, the garden were kept trimmed and neat, the beach access was great. Snorkeling off the beach was excellent lots of fish, a turtle and an eel, so that was very cool. It was quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. Grocery store was very close (5 min), the yacht club was 4 min away which made access for excursions super easy to drive to. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to stay on Grand Cayman.

We enjoyed our time at discovery point. We had a two bedroom with a king in the second bedroom and a queen and twin. It comes with a full kitchen. The beach is right outside your door. Not very crowded. Has a nice pool. Has Rocks and coral out in front of the complex which provides excellent snorkeling. What highly recommend. The house cleaning staff were excellent and very polite. They did a great job when they cleaned her condo. The lady upfront checking in was excellent. She answered all of our questions in a quick timely fashion with politeness.

Wow! This is a great place. Grand Cayman is a terrific destination and Discovery Point made our trip PERFECT!!!! The condo we stayed in was beautiful with the best ocean views you have ever seen. The staff of Discovery Point thought of everything even before we thought of it. They were on top of it all!!!!!! A bottle of wine was in the frigerator and snacks on the counter when we arrived. I like to grade a hotel by the towels, and if Discovery Point was a hotel (it was better) it would be a 10+++. Really great condo, EXCELLENT people and wonderful location. It was the best trip ever! Thank you so much Discovery Point.

Another great stay at our fav spot in GC. Clean, quiet, and fully furnished and equipped units. Best part of Discovery are its people. Ollie and Ann Rose take good care of everyone. Had to visit ER on this trip and very impressed with medical facilities and doctors on the island.

Great place to stay. We stayed at Discovery point about 10 years ago and loved it back then as well. Good snorkeling just out front and down the beach towards the cemetery that is one of the better spots on the beach. We went out on a snorkeling trip but not sure I would do that again because we only snorkeled about 30 minutes and then spent another 30 with the stingrays. Unless you are wanting to see the stingrays, I would drive to Smith’s Barcadere park and snorkel there and here at Discovery point. You will see just as much and have a lot more time to snorkel. We also enjoyed driving and snorkeling at starfish point and saw many star fish and spent a couple of hours there but the snorkel boat only stays there 15 minutes. Hope this is helpful.
